There also may be an impromptu playing of The Haunted Mansion Game of Life over the weekend somewhere maybe. Might have access to a suite in the Dolphin. I just got the game for my birthday and I'd like to play it sometime instead of having it sit shrinkwrapped forever...

It's not Clue...although I do have a Haunted Mansion Clue - I just collect Haunted Mansion stuff.

Disney has redesigned the Game of Life board game with a Haunted Mansion theme - it's now the game of (After) Life. I got it with my birthday gift card (which still has $17 left on it in case they have any cool festival merchandise.) When you arrive at the Final Destination you join the 999 Happy Haunts.

It actually says on the box "Will you attend the BOOniversity or start a Scareer?"

They might have a good bottle at the Festival Center. They've usually got some pretty decent wine that won't break the bank. Although if they have a bottle of Utopias I'm buying that.

I love this. You move around in doom buggies and pick up Hitchhiking Ghosts. One of the board spaces says "Adopt Eddie the Bat from the pet cemetary." And you can collect enough screams to buy a tomb. The ghosts can even sue each other. Spinning "10" is equivalent to "being caught with your hands and feet outside your Doom Buggy."

We have Tower of Terror Clue and we LOVE it.

Hi just popping in to say "Hi to Bendy & the friendies!"

I've been MIA this past week. My little 6yo niece has been in the hospital. Her appendix ruptured last Wednesday & she had emergency surgery. She is finally home & doing much better. But it was a rough rough week.

Brenda, I read back a bit & see that you were feeling bad. I hope your back to your normal not so crohny self!

Poor thing! I'm glad she's okay.

Can I ask the Friendies for some input? We're going to the Signature dinner at Wolfgang Puck's. We've not done one of these before. Am I better in a black sleeveless moderately dressy dress with lowish heeled sandals, (something I'd wear in Vegas to dinner), or a nice top/dress pants. Or, is either fine?

I vote for: Either works. I was planning on doing the nice top/dress pants and some sort of dress. I figure I'd wear the dress to V&A at least.

Ooh, count me in for a game of Haunted Mansion Life. I really enjoyed playing Haunted Mansion Clue at the AKL concierge lounge. That was an awesome trip.

Yeah, I'm glad Catherine mentioned it, because I don't want to miss out on Utopias this year, either. You know, I might ask some local wine stores if they'll carry it. I know you can't get it due to legal restrictions in Missouri, according to Wikipedia. But Wiki also stated that it's not being sold until November. Who knows?

According to our local wallet-emptiers they sell Utopias here in Missouri. Supposedly we have a bottle on order ... supposedly.

I think I may look for the Utopias on the 25th in the Festival Center. I can leave it with someone local till I come back. Cause I'm not on Southwest and I'm not paying to check luggage.

I got the Haunted Mansion game in Once Upon a Toy. It cost $40 or something like that. I didn't see it anywhere else. Looks like it might be too complicated to play while drunk though...is that possible?

I don't know about the Haunted Mansion game, but there are definatly games that are much harder drunk. Of course they are also more hilarious.
