We DO celebrate Christmas.
But, I can't do the card exchange this year...well...because I have baby brain AND a housefull of flu sufferers and am cancelling all non-essentials this year. [Unfortunately that's including laundry, at the moment.]

But...I wanted to give a shout out to Festivus for the Rest of Us.

Ok, so we're home. Exhausted but it was great! The CM's were wonderful, the weather was perfect and the birthday girl was happy A highlight of the trip was the surprise campfire. CM Brittany came in on her day off just for our private campfire. When we got to the campfire pit there was a crown (it said "It's my birthday), chair with balloons and goody bag waiting for Meg. She had the girls sing and dance to silly campfire songs, let them make as many s'mores as they wanted, and really connected with them. She was AWESOME!

I'm going to write up a trip report, just not sure where or when. Time to collapse

Can I just say that I hate the stomach flu?
Poor dd.

There's nothing worse than a kid with the stomach flu....unless you catch it yourself too! Emma and I both had a stomach bug earlier this year at the exact same time, on a day when Mike had to work so there was no one to take care of us....good times...

I quoted myself to add Laura & Tink to the list. And I know that I don't facebook, twitter, tweet, chirp, or eat worms.

I'm with you, Brenda.....I've got enough things in my life that I can't keep up with, let alone Facebook and Twitter!

We just booked the San Diego Wine and Food Festival - it's on Nov. 21st! Lots of people from Top Chef seem to show. I think Jason just books incase Padma shows! We paid to get in early to head to the good food! I'll take some pictures when we go!
