Starting at the end of Oct they are going to let you book 180 days out again... & I can just imagine how bad THAT day is going to be in Disney computer H E L L

Count me in! You bring the cupcakes, and I'll grab the bottle of Red Bicyclette Chardonnay that's in the frig. We'll be all set!:goodvibes

They are marble cupcakes with chocolate fudge frosting... think that will go?

I wish I had some champagne on hand, but I don't. We'll just have to make do. :goodvibes Those cupcakes sound absolutely divine! :thumbsup2

Did you all see the news for the Wizarding World of Harry Potter that was released today? I may have to add a night at Universal next fall just for that!

Yes, that's my ADR date!! :scared1::eek::sad: It would have been two days later, why couldn't they wait until November 1 or so to go back to 180 days????

I am now going back to bed. Got a 7:45 pm Chef Mickey for arrival night (no confirmation number, just "the system is down" screen. I've heard that it goes through so we'll see) since that's the only day I could access. Jim got 5:15 'Ohana for arrival night; one of those I'll cancel when I call at 7:00. Good night again!

I hope you have much better luck when you call at 7

Sorry the system is giving you heartburn, Jamie. I hope everything works out and you nab those ADRs that you all want.

Wouldn't you think that a company that makes as much money as Disney could manage to put out an on-line product that actually works? I don't expect it to be perfect but these daily glitches and seemingly constant changes are unacceptable from a company that prides itself on service ... or at least used to.

I am so sorry that it did not work for you at 3 am!! Hope you had good luck when calling at 7 am! :goodvibes

The one big thing that might be in your favor is confusion. As Disney jumps from one policy to another, and then back again, there will probably be diners who are clueless. Here's hoping you'll have all your ADR's safely booked before most WDW guests understand that the policy has changed, yet again. :goodvibes

Hope you got some rest. How annoying this must be! Sending you some pixie dust, maybe it'll help when you call. :goodvibespixiedust:pixiedust:

Thanks for all the Pimped Out Bendy/Frendie Trip Report Love!
[My pregnat self needs all the encouragement I can get,
as I feel vaguely sloth-like at the moment and have 19 more weeks to go,
give or take.]
Day 1/Travel Day is now up! :cool1:

And may I just say, it doesn't pay to find a cravable food at WDW, because you will be torturing yourself for the rest of your pregnancy.
I NEED Le Cellier's mashed potatoes.

Everybody's pixie dust must have worked! After sleeping on the couch for an hour (dh was snortling and keeping me awake), I got up at 6 am and had no trouble getting through by phone right at 7! Thank goodness I had the nicest CM who knew what she was doing, plus she had a very soothing voice which was much needed.

Dec. 16 California Grill 5:55 p.m.

Dec. 17 Chef Mickey's 10:15 a.m., Wonderland Tea Party for Olivia 2:00 p.m.
Garden View Tea for dh and me 2:15 p.m.

Dec. 18 Candlelight Processional first seating, Rose & Crown 2:05 p.m.

Dec. 19 Cinderella's Royal (PITA) Table :rotfl2: 10:05 a.m. , 'Ohana 5:00 pm

Dec. 20 Le Cellier 1:00 p.m.

Dec. 21 Kona Cafe 9:05 a.m. and Kouzzina 4:55 p.m.

And during this 24 minute conversation, dd came downstairs in no less than three different outfits for picture day--and none of them were the shirt we bought yesterday! Talk about getting good at sign language!

Jamie - I am glad the ADR fiasco had a happy ending! :teeth:

Cinderella's Royal PITA. I think they should start serving pita bread just so they can call it that.

Right now I am pleased that my plan to buy a new Universal pass when I am there on October 4 will likely get me into the Harry Potter extravaganza next year.

And it's likely I will have breakfast at Kona on October 5 (friends' idea not mine). Not touching the Tonga Toast. But I have heard things about macadamia pancakes.

:woohoo: Congratulations! I had to giggle a bit about CRT and am very happy my Rachel no longer wants to go there, but there was that time when we just HAD to have that in our dining repertoire or she'd die (at least that's what she professed). Your giving me hope that I may have an easier time than I think with getting our Christmas ADR's. I can't call until Friday though. Ugh! Probably just as well, because I have 17 days of dining to plan and haven't even started. Time to get cracking on the spreadsheet.

You guys are both up on Friday! Ours may have been a little easier because I plan some lunches, but still it wasn't nearly as bad as I thought it would be. I trust my voice better than my computer skills anyway!

The breakfast plan is to get dh to order the Big Kahuna and Tonga Toast for myself---that way I don't have to choose between TT and the pancakes. I'm one of those people that even puts syrup on the Tonga Toast. :cool1:

Oh, yes, and an FYI I wanted to mention:
If you make an online ADR and get to the end where it's supposed to give you a confirmation number and the screen just goes white...or says that page is not available at this time...the ADR still goes through. The Chef Mickey for the 15th did go through when I had the CM check, so I cancelled it. So, don't totally despair if it looks like the system just lost your reservation, it probably didn't.

Thanks for the tip. I can just see me having a cow with getting a blank screen when I'm already bleary eyed at 3am. All I can say is that my family had better appreciate my dedication to getting these ADR's. :rotfl:
