Beloved kitty, Splash, has gone over the Rainbow Bridge. Update post 40

A dear friend emailed a while ago. Her beloved kitty of 21 yrs is set to go over the Rainbow Bridge tomorrow. It's time. A vet appointment has been scheduled.

If you recognise the picture of this kitty, Splash, please send thoughts & prayers to her owner, her DH and the cat. This picture brought a lot of smiles and joy every time I saw it posted online.

And if you don't recognise this kitty, know she was a much loved part of many of our cyber lives.

Aww, poor Splash. I honestly don't remember whose she was, but I definitely recognize that photo. Prayers being sent. Even when it's time, it's never easy.

I remember that picture well. Splash is diabetic, right? I remember that poster helping me with questions about my diabetic cat. We lost my cat last year. I'm so sorry to hear about Splash.

Oh no......absolutely, I remember SPLASH. Omg, I feel so badly for Jo and her DH.

Where has Jo been......she has not posted in such a long time?

Please tell her, she and her DH will be in all our prayers......21 years is a long time and Splash was an amazing kitty as Jo would post about her often.

Splash lost her hearing and then slowly lost her eyesight and developed kidney problems as well as the diabetes you mentioned. But, she hung in there and has fought a good fight for a long time.


Jo got *poofed* during the Ban War a while back.

Splash will be in our prayers. Sad for this to happen but Splash's "Mommy" was so wonderful to her. I just wish all pets were loved like that.

I remember her and this beautiful old girl kitty. Sending prayers for a peaceful crossing to the Rainbow Bridge. Know that Splash will be restored to a healthy, whole body and be patting butterflies at the Bridge.

I've been through this. It is very hard, but you will find the strength to do this. to you and your husband.
