crappiest week ever ... and it's only Wednesday.

oh well ... vacation starts on Friday night so I think I can make it through two more days ... as long as I don't run out of beer.

We've got our four beers lined up for our anniversary beer dinner on the 29th, and instead of bread pudding souffle I decided to be lazy and order small cakes from the bakery that made our wedding cake. So we're going to have a citrus pound cake with strawberry cream filling and vanilla buttercream frosting and a chocolate buttermilk cake with cappuccino cream filling and vanilla buttercream frosting.

YUM!

also ... glad to see some info on F&W ... I withhold all judgement until program details are released.

As for the cakes, this bakery makes such awesome cakes that there was none left at the end of our reception. We ordered enough for 225 guests ... only 190 showed up ... and it was still all gone.

Cravings gourmet bakery ... google them and you'll see what I'm talking about.

Brenda: Lovely quilt. My gramma used to make them for us. What an awsome keepsake and such a personal gift. I wish I had the patience to make one for both of my kids. That will never happen!!!
Have a wonderful 10th anniversary. Ours is June 24 and I think we are getting a calorie counting pediometer to share. OMG we are SO romantic!!

Cntkg1: I never thought of organ meat.......I was thinking of a drippy purple potato. Either way, that dessert looked a bit lacking. I've always wanted to try a tasting menu but that menu, Brenda, was surely lacking!
