Belle's yellow dress

I dont know if this has been said yet, I just back. We looked everywhere for Belle hoping to find her in toontown. We were @ Epcot next in line to belle ( in her blue dress) and Beast when he had to leave, Since noone was in line we talked to her and she said that they have ordered a yellow dress for the princess breakfast in Norway. and it should be here in about 2 weeks. And she said to come back in about 20 min. and beast would be back, so we walked around and came back in 20 min. Belle and Beast were walking out and she saw DD and told her to walk with her and we could meet her at the meet and greet spot. They talked to DD and she thought it was so great.

Interesting news. I actually like Belle in her blue dress better than her gold dress (I tend to like village bookworm Belle over Princess Belle, but that's just me), but I think that she should wear her ballgown at the Princess Meal. All the other Princesses have such beautiful outfits that she just doesn't seem to fit in when she's in blue. Thanks for the news.

Now if we can just get Jasmine one of her more formal outfits to wear there...

I can't remember who, but someone posted pictures a while back from the Toontown Princess meet and greet and there was a Belle in the yellow gown. I think it's pretty rare, though.

Every time that Belle was in Toontown she wore her yellow dress. I think she always wears the yellow dress in Toontown. She wears the blue dress at the character dinings, however. It is too tough to navigate, and the dress is too expensive, to wear the yellow dress at character dinings (AKA CRT and PSB).

A little tidbit of info about Belle in her yellow gown. If you go to DL, that's the only outfit you'll find her in! DS was a good friend of Belle's at DL last summer, and when I mentioned to him that she's never in her yellow gown at WDW, that's what he told me-she's always in her yellow gown at DL (don't know about DCA though!)

I was there this past Thursday. I didnt notice but "Belle" said they were making a picture spot for her. She goes to toontown only when one of the other princesses cant make it. We were talking about breakfast in NOrway I dont know about CRT.

Belle is by far my favorite, I track her down everytime im in disney. I go to Disneyland twice a year for the past 18 years, and I have never seen belle in her blue dress

When we went to DL last summer I was excited to see Belle in her yellow gown. When we go back next month, I want to get a picture with her.

I have actually never heard of anyone getting a pic of Belle in her yellow dress from WDW. The one's I've seen have always been from DL. This could be an exciting change.

If I can find a way to post it (a little computer challenged!) I have a picture of DH and I with Belle and Beast, and Belle is in her yellow dress. It actually was for a private event, though, so I don't know if it really "counts."

We were at MGM in 2003 for the DMA, (Direct Marketing Assoc Conference)and DH's work rented out MGM after hours for the after party. They had most of the characters there, walking around and mingling with the people. We saw Belle and Beast, and they were happy to pose for a picture. It was great, and one of my favorite pics of the trip! I will definitely try to post it if I can, but I don't have it digital, so I'll have to ask DH if he can scan it for me.

BTW - hanging out at MGM was one of the coolest things we have ever done. The rides weren't open, but regardless, it was awesome just to be there. They did fireworks over the Mickey sorcerer hat too!

You should see the picture of my DS11 with his sister and Jasmine. Her bare midriff made his cheeks turn more pink than Princess Aurora's dress.

We have a picture with Belle in her gold dress--her REAL gown. BECAUSE Belle is my cousin!! Not kidding. My first cousin is Belle at MGM in the stage performance of Beauty and the Beast. At her show we are VIP's and get to do a meet and greet afterwards. Her gown that she wears in that show is much more eleborate than the yellow one the character wears. I dont think they are out and about with that gown b/c it is VERY expensive!

My favorite princess has always been Belle, and I absolutely agree that I prefer Belle in her blue dress, or the red one she wears in the Christmas video much better than the yellow. They fit her pretty personality better than the stiff, elaborate yellow gown. However, I understand the need to 'dress up' for a special occassion meal...

We are going in just 10 days, staying through to the 16th with a breakfast planned in Epcot about half way through. I would like to see her once in the yellow dress and at least once in the blue dress.

On our last trip, we missed Belle in France. We got to see Beast but we were disappointed to miss Belle. I love Belle too. She's both beautiful AND smart (not that the others aren't smart) Hopefully you know what I mean by that. I think each princess has her own special gifts. Belle got my DD (now 17) to love books. I guess that's why she's special to me.

Hopefully on our quick trip we'll get to see her.

Belle is my DD (23 yo) favorite also. She will be Belle in the yellow dress for MNSSHP on October 30. This dress is taking forever to make, but she will have a strong resemblance to the original.
