Hey all,
Only getting around to doing this now.

Highs:
Meeting all the villains (well, the ones that didnt freak DD out)
Magic Castle - the rooms were soooo nice. Breakfast I didnt find as good as onsite but more then adequate.
The hub stage being gone - it just flows better.
Getting our APs - it took 10 minutes and we saved loads with the discount.
Wait times werent too bad. The park was busy enough but wait times didnt reflect this so much.

Lows:
DD was very afraid of the bigger rides. I had thought being a bit older now at 7 that she may attempt BTM again but oooh no, she had a breakdown / freak out / hysterics on POTC!! despite having done it ten times so BTM we reckoned was no hope.
Halloween was just a bit meh. DLP could do so much more with this.
I had a phonecall from my hubbie on our last morning to say he had collapsed the previous night and was in hospital. He had had his gall bladder out in Sept but his body isnt breaking down acid so this caused him alot of pain and resulted in him collapsing. Luckily his nephew was there to ring for an ambulance. I fretted for the whole last day and I think all we did was Buzz to occupy DD. I didnt want her to know he was sick as shes a worrier but she was happy to look around the shops for the day.

Debating doing a TR. Didnt take many snaps.

Welcome back!! Aw your poor dh and poor you hope he is on the mend...

Dd1 is also 7 and refused to go on btm too dd2 did try it buy didnt want to go on it again. Both luv potc once your on the ride they hate the walk down to it. Hopeing they will both be brave enough for btm at easter as its my fav ride and im going on my own with them.

Do the trip report id luv to read it, luv reading tr from familys who have kids same age as mine.

Wishing your DH a speedy recovery. Little wonder you spent your last day worrying about him.

No wonder you haven't had time - so sorry to hear about your husband and hope he is recovering now. :goodvibes

Glad you had a nice time for most of the holiday and were pleased with your hotel. Now you have APs you can take your time acclimatising your daughter to the rides on future visits and enjoy the atmosphere of the parks leisurely in the meantime.

Don't stress over doing a TR. If you are too busy this time why not just post a couple of nice photos for us all to see.

Hope all is well now and look forward to using those APs again soon! :)

Oh hun, that's not what you want! Hope he's getting better now, I'm glad his nephew was around.

Hope you enjoyed your trip despite the worry on your last day

If its any comfort this year was the first year I could get younger DS onto BTMRR - and he's just turned 13:rotfl: Last time he was 7 1/2 and flatly refused to have anything to do with it.
