Our youngest 3 daughters will be turning 6 the first week of February but we will be going on vacation to WDW during the last week of Feb. To save having a party with lots of kids and spending money on cakes (3), party favors ,decorations we were thinking of doing their party at one of the restaurants, probably something that served "family style".I know it sounds bad, but they really have no clue the exact day of their birthday and we just thought that with all the work involved planning a stay at wdw 2 weeks before you leave this might be a good idea ,plus their aunt Ruthie is going to meet us there and she was planning on bringing their presents to Florida with her anyway.Has anyone ever done a belated bday or party there before or even just a kids birthday.Whats involved with ordering cakes ect? What about ordering gifts from Disney and having them delivered,or buying in the parks ,can you have these gift wrapped ? We were thinking of doing Whispering Canyons unless someone has any other suggestions.

My sone will turn 5 early March, and we are going late March. I am telling them when I reserver the hotel and ADS's that we are celebrating his birtday. Which we are, we just couldnt go on the date of his birthday. I plan on getting a cake at Coral Reef I think, our first night there.

anything wrong with celebrating your kids birthdays a few days off the actual date. Most of us plan parties for the weekend around the time of their birthday at home so why not at Disney.

Here is a link for some birthday specials. Some are quite extravagant or you can order a cake. The only one that has to be on the birthday is the free admission. The cake instructions are about halfway down the page.

We usually scheduled our birthday celebrations, and they didn't end up on the acutal date. Nothing wrong with that. Mine is December 11th, so we often had to wait until school break to celebrate at Disney. Your kids will LOVE a Disney birthday party - heck I would now even at 26! I have no info on the cakes, etc. but I wanted to say that I think your triplets will love it. Enjoy that celebration!

ETA - I think Whispering Canyon would be fun, but if they are young girls, would they enjoy a character meal? They could meet Cinderella at 1900 Park Faire or at a breakfast in Norway. They could also meet the fab five at Chef Mickey's. If family style is important O'hana could be a fun choice too - character breakfast or non-character dinner at night. I don't have kids yet, so I'm sure sure what the best bet would be. Hope it helps a bit!
