Has anyone ever heard of a wedding at the German restaurant? I know it's not listed anywhere but I think it would be the coolest place to have a wedding!

I know you can get married in the Germany Pavilion. You might be able to have your reception in the Biergarten after-you should ask DFTW. Most anything is possible at Disney for the right price!

Because the Biergarten opens to day guests at 11am with the rest of World Showcase, it would not be available for a 3- or 4-hour reception following a 9am Epcot wedding. The only restaurant in WS that is available for wedding receptions is Monsieur Paul, which doesn't open to day guests until dinner.

However, you might try asking whether you could have your ceremony inside the restaurant instead of in the courtyard, maybe even at 8am instead of 9. I have a feeling that park management will say that opening preparations and the arrangement of tables and chairs inside will preclude this too, but at least it's slightly more possible than a reception.

I believe the food would be from Disney Catering. You'd need to be a Wishes bride to have your wedding there, so there would be a tasting beforehand during the planning session so the couple could pick whatever they preferred to serve at their reception.

Some very good advice on here already, and I don't have anything to add other than I believe that the Biergarten would be a fantastic place to have a wedding!
