Ummm, yeah, I'm gonna have to disagree with you on that one.

We've always found the floor to work well. The kids are in one bed and we are on the floor on the other side of the other bed. That way, if they happen to wake up, they can't see anything because our bed is blocking the view.

I will definitely take that as a compliment, to me it is better then the room where the kids are you make due with what you got

Had a 1 bdrm at OKW this trip. It was great! 15 month old sleeping in the pack n play in the king bedroom and we'd just sneak into the LR and pull out the sofa bed.

Don't worry! We stripped the sheets when we checked out!!!

DVC is SO WORTH THE MONEY!!!!!

Only new suggestion I could come up with. Go in the bathroom yourself! Get into the bed yourself! Nothing wrong with a little self pleasure know and then.

One of our best experiences was a shower at ASMo - we never did come home with a souvie, but had fun thinking of all the possible names if that did happen - Cindy, Orlando, Mickey, Minnie, Jasmine - etc.

I agree with those that have indicated DVC is worth the money.

Our upcoming trip includes a studio for us, and a studio for our three lovely children. Of course we are lucky enough now to have a 21 y/o DD in the mix, and to this idea she say's "have a ball"!

With OP children being so young, why not invite an adult relative to keep the kids with them in another room?

Yes, my kids are 2.5 and almost 6, so I think the younger one is too young to do any kids club things? And it's the younger one that is the lighter sleeper, darn her!

We are staying at the Carribean Beach Resort, nice to know the bathroom will be a possibility.

Like the idea of the floor on the opposite side of their bed.

And who ever said we would be too tired to exercise - NO WAY!! My dh works 65-80 hours a wk, walking through a theme park will be easy for him. Besides we have nap time every day too! If we nap we will SO have energy. We can be quiet if need be.

Balconies, hmmm... Will we have one?

Unfortunately, I have a common name, so if you hear "Nora" called out between April 22 - May 1, guess you will know who I am now... LOL.

DH and family travel with GMIL, so kids sleeping or not - NO Nookie! Staying at CSR, he and I went to the front desk at 10PM to check the bill and on our way back managed to "take care of business" in some of the wonderful 6' tall greenery surrounding the pool area. I never thought I would be glad for a closed pool due to renovation.

That's what DOOR LOCKS are for. If you can do it with your spouse in the bathroom why not a little self stimulation. Heck too bad they don't have hand held shower head at the resorts. I have threatened to bring one with me on trips, I love my hand held shower head.

My DH is reading over my shoulder and wants you to convince me of the exercise portion. We travel with my father so there will be no exercise for us and my husband being a very tall man all of the other options would be out anyway. Besides I would be afraid I would come home with a little minnie or mickey. I love all the creativity.

There is no way I would with the kids in the room. We'll be there for 17 days. DH says book the kids on every Pirate cruise etc. that we can. LOL - if my mother or mother in law came that would be the end of it all unless we booked another room in a completely different hotel!

Sorry to sound like a prudish snob, but I cannot believe people cannot wait until they get home in the privacy of their own rooms to be intimate.

I love my husband to death and sex was a beautiful gift given to us, but for crying out loud, some things just have to wait. I like to "get it on" with my husband, too..... but.............


I would suggest the Pirate Cruise, going with another family so you can "trade-off" or using Disney's sitter services.

when your dh works as much as mine, getting 8 or more hours of sleep a night tends to have a certain affect on him...

Besides, as itis your right to not want to do it on vacation, it is my right to want to. Whether or not it CAN happen and HOW was my question. You aren't a prude anymore than I am a nympho - we just see the time off work as different I guess.
