 We are going to WDW for 9 nights staying in one room with our dd5 and dd2. I don't want to have to go that many nights without, um, LOVING :love2: , my husband. Anyone have suggestions they can print? :rotfl:

Connecting rooms. DVC. (I think this is why my DH likes DVC). Your DD is too young for kids clubs, so you'd be stuck with in room babysitting - and it might be awkward with the sitter there....

You could get an in room sitter and then rent a cheap motel room (if you have a car) or find a good code for one evening at the All-Stars.

Yep, shower works very well in that situation.

If you are really quiet, wait until they are fast asleep.....and in the other bed :love2:

I don't know...when kids are that young, couldn't you just do it when they fall asleep? My kids 4.5 and 2.5 are very sound sleepers ONCE they fall into a deep sleep. Unless of course you're looking for a totally romantic evening, now that's a different thing and then you'd probably have to do something along the lines of what crisi said. As for the shower, I personally could never do that unless they were asleep anyway because my DS 4.5 would want to know why mommy and daddy were taking a shower together and my DD 2.5 would want to get in with us or if she didn't want to (but she probably would cause she's a total shower/bath freak) she'd open the hotel door and take a little stroll. LOL! :teeth:

We actually had a funny experience while on vacation. After DDs (2 and 11 at the time) fell asleep in the bed next to us, we were feeling a little "frisky". Well, that went fine and we drifted off to a blissful sleep afterwards. In the middle of the night, we were awaken by a loud thud, DD2 had fallen out of the bed! She was on the far side of the bed, near the wall. DH instinctly dashed out of bed and hopped over to get her. Well, being 1/2 asleep, he forgot he was NAKED! That would have been okay for just DD2 who was so distraught over falling, she didn't notice. But...in all the commotion, DD11 woke up as well. DH grabbed a pillow and used DD2 and the pillow to shield himself and we both yelled out "EVERYTHING IS FINE, GO BACK TO SLEEP!!" I was now fully awake laughing hysterically at DH (who is 6 ft) crouched behind a 2 year old and a pillow. He managed to put her back to bed and manuever into his shorts. From the moment on, we have ALWAYS gotten a hotel room with a suite with a door!!!! The privacy and freedom to enjoy each other once the kids are settled is sooooooo worth the money!!!

I disagree with doing that after the kids are asleep but in the same room. I'll never forget when I was about 9-10 waking up to finding my mom "helping" out my dad, if you get my drift. Even as a 32 year old adult who is married now, I still shiver thinking of that night. YUK! :earseek:

suite is not an option but we did think of that

the shower, um, dh did mention some thoughts on that, :rotfl:

we were thinking of having them take a bath and being quick too

one of ours sleeps like a rock the other is a light sleeper, so that MIGHT work, might not.

I can not go 9 days without exercise, you know.... romance is every minute of every day, exercise isn't. :goodvibes

Any more ideas??

PS DH said I should NOT ask this here, LOL

You won't have to worry about it because you will be too TIRED!!! :rotfl:

No, seriously...if you're not into the shower thing, I would go with adjoining rooms!

Enjoy your trip!

Perhaps you can't afford connecting rooms for the entire stay, but how about for a few days maybe in the middle?

depends on how your kids are, but I think I've read on the boards that some of the kidsitters that come to your room will also take the kids "out" to the arcade or playground etc, so if you felt comfortable with that, maybe that could work for you.
BTW, we've done the bath thing-ie hurry while they take a bath. Worked fine but obviously was very quick! :rotfl2:

My suggestion is ummm similar to spooning!! Do it while they are asleep and this way if one of them wakes up you can stop immediately and it looks like Mom and Dad are just cuddling!!

:cool1: :cool1:     :cloud9: :cloud9:

book the kids on the pirates cruise, then go back to your room pirate:

Do not leave your children unattended in the bathtub.
Nothing is worth that risk!

Kids will be so tired they will sleep through anything you are not too tired to do!!!! :cloud9:

Enjoy the trip!!!

I have to say, I already informed DH that there wasn't going to be a "hanky panky" during our vacation (9 nights :earseek: ). I cannot bring myself to "do it" with the baby in the room, no way no how. Now DH informed my Father last week he think we should make Katie a little brother over vacation-- poor man doesn't realize he just put the final nail in the coffin!!

Only thing is - he knows my weakness  ........pray for me! ;)
