Has anyone ever done this tour with a wheelchair? We're thinking about doing it, but I can't seem to find much information or details. Is it wheelchair friendly?
Ok, thanks. That was my concern. From the Land ride, I've been trying to judge just how wide the aisles are. We'll have a manual chair, so I think we may try it. Thanks again!
I've actually went on this tour last year, using an ECV. Where turns were tight, I just proceeded (with the okay of the Guide) to a place where I could turn/turn around.
So, in response to the OP: Yes, you will absolutely be able to maneuver in a wheelchair.
I've done it several times with an ECV and have never had any problem. Of course I have my own ECV, but it is very similar to a lot of the rentals. I think that with one of the big Disney ECVs with four wheels it would be very difficult.
We had no problems doing this tour with DS in his manual wheelchair. It's a fun tour, he was able to see everything just fine and really enjoyed being chosen to release some ladybugs in one of the greenhouses.
