Because SOMEONE is taking his own sweet time commenting on our last update (not mentioning any names, but it starts with a C and ends with a Chuck!) here is Jake's lastest creation!

A little backstory: we have recently become obsessed with Doctor Who. In this episode Doctor Who has been called in to help defend a planet against Zombies. Enjoy! (there is a little Disney guest star to keep it on topic!)

I may have to steal your idea of monorail photos for next time -- we were keeping track of which colors we saw, but I like the picture idea!

I keep looking at the Disney cross stitch kits, too, but have yet to buy one -- I always say next time!

Nice update. What did you mean Garden Grill is discontinued? Are they not doing character meals there anymore, or did you guys just decide you don't need to go back. I'm so confused!

I'm so sorry... I'm not a Dr. Who fan. But I am very impressed with Jake's ability to put a short movie like this together -- moving parts, sound effects and all!

YaY!!! That guy Chuck, must have finally gotten off his lazy keister and decided to work on the update!!

Well thank goodness that Chuck is finally getting with it.

Author's Note: This chapter contains what was our last lunch at the Garden Grill. It has since been discontinued. It was our family's all time favorite character meal, and we are all really disappointed that it was our last.

Last time I ate at GG was the mid 80's/early 90's and don't think it was yet a character meal. But the restaurant did rotate. And the butter was in the shape of Mickey heads. 'Nuff said.

Do you know all the colors of the monorails? I do.
Red, coral, pink,

Green, Lime, yellow

Black and blue

Silver and gold

Orange and purple.

One of the things on our “list” was to get a picture of every different color monorail while we were there.

Whoa, dude... you guys are advanced Disney geeks!

a personalized plate for and it was: TARDIS.

Feel free to steal the monorail idea! I didn't get them all, but it was fun. I am a monorail nut!

I've done two Disney kits and am working on a third. I've done Cinderella's castle and the Mickey and Minnie sunset one. Currently I'm doing Mistletoe kiss between afghans. It's is tough, a lot of white!!

I like him already!! Scifi Friday is a staple at our house.

They are discontinuing the Character lunch at the Garden Grill. I am not sure if they will still have the characters at supper, but they will still serve supper.(For all you unsouthern folks, that's dinner.)

I love your trip report so far. I just started reading. My name is Jake and I'm a HUGE Star Wars fan too. Has Jake ever made his own lightsaber at the once upon a Toy Store? If not he would really like it! The goofy lamp is so funny. The mickey tie dye shirts are SO cool! Can't wait for more!

I LOVE a good fountain show!! They still do them every fifteeen minutes and chime on the hour. I duess it's just the timing when you are walking by.

Cardiff is in Wales which is about 200 miles from us, we live in the South East of England and Cardiff is almost directly west of us! I don't watch Dr Who is he from Cardiff?
