Made offer to seller - 2/4
offer accepted - 2/6
Sent for ROFR - 2/7
Passed ROFR - 3/5
Estoppel from Disney - 4/2
Buyer (I) sent documents for closing - 4/3
International Seller (went out of the way to expedite) docs sent in - 4/15
Closing - 4/15
Deed sent for recording - 4/15
Deed Recorded - 4/16 (was actually recorded night of 4/15)
Letter with Membership number received - 5/1 (called 4/29 and 4/30 and was told they could see my name in the system but would need to wait for the letter. Did not get membership number on the phone, but no big deal)
Able to login - 5/1 - All points available
First Booking - 5/1
Just under 3 months (not counting the insane amount of research before that) start to finish.
Hope this helps future members. The wait for the ROFR and Estoppel was INSANE, but I have seen this consistently from other members on this forum.
The only other nugget I would like to add is my international sellers went out of the way (I think they actually came to the US to get the docs notarized cause I was told the Embassy would take weeks to get them an appointment). Again, from what I am told, that would have added weeks to my timeline, so keep that in mind.
Best of luck to all wanting to experience the magic of Disney.
