In the Fall of 2000, I transplanted peonies from my mom's yard to mine. When Spring of 2001 came, the peonies grew but their growth was stunted and their buds dried out.

Happy news for the Spring of 2002. I had decided to let them adjust to their new environment one more year before doing anything and I was rewarded with the following.

I had twelve beautiful blossoms this year. Hoping next year brings me more.
P.S. - The headless doggie is Samantha but she really is not headless
