Before 3pm, are rooms ever ready?

I will be arriving at the Beach Club Resort around noon tomorrow. I know check in is officially at 3pm. Should I expect to have to wait until 3pm or are the rooms often available earlier?

Possibly and possibly not. I have recieved rooms at different resorts by 9 am other times I have had to wait till closer to check in time.

We have never had to wait for our room. But I do know people who have had to. We usually get in during morning hours or early afternoon.

It also could depend on your room requests. If you have a specific room request, then if your room isn't ready then, they might not let you into your room early. I saw that when I checked into BLT. We checked in at noon, and our room was ready but the woman in front of us wasn't. So it's possible.

Hopefully it will be but if it's not you can always check your belongings with bell services and they'll give you a phone number to call and check on your room status. Good luck!

With the exception of my stay at the Contemporary in December 2006, all my other stays there along with the Polynesian, Wilderness Lodge and Boardwalk Inn, we checked-in before 3:00 PM and our rooms were always ready.

In the 4 times I've been (twice in june, once in july, once in october) the room has always been ready before 3pm. I think I have just been lucky though!

We have always checked in between 10-11am and never have waited for a room. If you did have to wait, you can just leave your items with the bellhop.

We always check-in around 9-10am at BCV & our room has never been ready before 1 or 2pm. (No big deal for us though. We always arrive there in our swim suits, with a pool bag packed, & make it a pool day!) We are DVC members though, and stay in the villas.

last June, i did online check-in for Pop and let them know i'd be there about 8:30 am. our room was ready.

on a prior trip to GF, we had to wait for our room, but it wasn't an issue. we really wanted a room in a certain section and had been assigned the one building we didn't want. so, we took the other room, which meant we had to wait. we went on into the parks and had a great day!

My room has only been available early twice. And available later than 3pm twice (didn't get a room until after 6pm).

It's totally random. I checked into Pop at 10:00 a.m. in early December and my room was ready. I checked into the Yacht Club last March at the same time and my room wasn't ready. Luck of the draw I guess.

When we go as a family we stay at the Beach Club and we always bring our bathing suits in our carry-ons so we are prepared to kill some time if the room isn't ready.

This suits my wife just fine since she never wants to leave SAB!!

Actually you can check in anytime after the computers roll over at 7:00 am, so at noon you can check-in.

If you do online check-in, you must fill in a time and they most likely will give you a room that is available. However, may not be the room you wanted. On a busy time, it is best to wait until you get there and find out what is available or tell them you are willing to wait.

I arrive on the Saturday after Thanksgiving, around 10:15 am, which is a very busy check-out day. I tell them I would rather wait for my room as requested, than take the first available. Almost always, I have had my room by 1:00 pm and most of the times, it has been better than requested.

I've been able to check in before noon on multiple occassions. Just keep in mind that check in starts at 3:00, so the room could technically be available later than 3:00. I would check in and have them text you when your room is ready.

That is for releasing rooms; check-in can start as early as 7:00 am when the computers roll over.

It is completely random and depends on how full the hotel was the night before and how quickly housekeeping can turn around the rooms.

We've lucked out and gotten into our room early for most of our trips. However, we don't usually travel at peak times or on peak days.

It seems to be different each trip. Most of my experiences have been they arent ready. All the check ins Ive done around 730 &8 am they havent been, a few times around 1230 they havent been ready.. Luck of the draw I guess..
