Beetles in Texas

I hopped into the UK chat today (Sunday) and was relating to everyone there a tall tale about our dung beetle infestation here in Texas. A week ago we had thousands of them everywhere. Well, I just let my doxie out, and happened to see a lonely one on my back porch. I grabbed my cheapie, no resolution, digital camera and snapped away. Not a very good picture, but I think you can see why I'm not a beetle fan. Anyway, said buggie, met his maker soon after his photo shoot.

A friend of ours had one crawling across his chest one morning on the way to work. EEEEEEEEEEEE.
