Beer with salt

So sitting with some neighbors on the stoop having a cold one, and they take the cans of beer and cover the rim in salt and open and drink.

Maybe it's a Minnesota thing because I salt my beer too! LOL

My Mom adds tomato juice to her beer, she always has. I've never tried it, nor adding salt....but I do add lime or lemon when I have a Corona

Absolutely not, but I also don't drink fizzy yellow beer. So if you dig it, cool. I just don't put fruit or salt or anything into my beer to make it taste better.

My dad used to throw a little dash of salt in his beer. Salty things go good with beer--pretzels, nuts, chips, pizza, etc. By adding a little salt you're just cutting out the middle man. Tomato juice is good in cheap American beer.
I drink imported beer so the extra ingredients aren't necessary.
