We usually balance our food/drinks and clothes in the boot of our car. Less additional clothes means more drinks! We usually carry detergent with us so each of us wash their own clothes. That leaves a lot of space in the car for other things. Its a huge picnic!
I'm not trying to start anything, as I see you are a brand new member of the Disboards, so welcome. But, it states under your avatar that you are from New Jersey. And, your car has a boot? I spent a significant portion of my life in the beautiful state of New Jersey, and never, ever, ever, heard any one say anything about a car boot. So, what is up? Something ain't right here.
That's great to know. I never thought Disney would allow coolers where they served beer. I will definitely bring one in August. Can you bring beer in a cooler to the pool?
Yes, you can bring beer in a cooler to the pool. And watch what you say about not bringing beer into the Fort. A year ago, a little April Fool prank about that very subject nearly caused a riot:
I finally made it up to the front to get a photo of the sign that I saw yesterday:

I asked the hostess that checked us in what this was all about.
She said that the Fort management was upset because they are not making enough profits from alcohol sales. So, they are banning folks from bringing their own liquor. You can still buy it at the Trading Post (at ridiculous prices!).
The hostess said they are not going to search coolers at check in, but if they see anyone drinking outside liquor, they will eject them from the Fort.
