Beer is good

3 additional pointers about the soup.....

1. Use Cabot brand sharp white cheddar cheese. (Sold at Publix & Wal-Mart)
2. Use Moosehead beer (ummm, I usually drink the extra while cooking:drinking1
3. During the "reduce heat and simmer for 15 minutes, DO NOT LET THE SOUP EXCEED 165 DEGREES. If you do it will not mix properly. Portions will appear watery and then you'll have "curds" in it. This point is directly from the chef that created the recipe for Le Cellier.

WOW I found the thread of A lifetime!!:thumbsup2

beer is AMAZING.. (and yes, I'm a girl who likes good beer!!!:thumbsup2)
I only wish there was and easier way to get GOOD beer to enjoy in our villa without towncar service, or driving ourselves or selling a kidney to buy it in Epcot!

That's an idea! I'm sitting here watching football, enjoying a nice cup of coffee.

Football and coffee???? :confused3

I think I'm doing something wrong. And I've got a nice selection of beer in the garage fridge.....I need to go get one! :drinking1

Ok, so I went to the garage. And I got a Fat Tire. Not too shabby. It was between that or a Labatt Blue. Guess I couldn't go wrong either way.

I love beer!

We went to St Louis this weekend to visit my brother and his family. My sister and her husband were there as well. The 6 adults left the kids behind yesterday and went to tour the Anheuser Busch factory. If you've never had the chance to do this tour, I highly recommend it. Especially the end of the tour, where you get to sample 2 free beers! And these are not little sample cups...they are full beers. They have about 8-10 beers to try, including some of the Belgian beers of the parent company.

I had a couple of my own, plus one of my sister-in-laws' (she doesn't drink beer :confused3), and most of one of my wife's, and some of my sisters....

good thing I wasn't driving :thumbsup2

I haven't had a beer since the last time.
Sounds like a good trip to make, beer is good.

Okay, DH would like to know if we should stock pile beer from home because of the cost of Beer in Disney or does anyone know if the beer is reasonable priced at FW or are there good choices besides Bud & Bud light? He likes IPA's and Heifiweizen's, Since he started brewing his own beer, he has become a beer snob! Any info would be great!
