Can anyone tell me what this is and how it works? I got the brochure from my ap flyier but all it really says it beer fest and the dates and how much off you rec as a passholder. We have booked our dates for that weekend not knowing this was going on. WE are going to see Comedy Central's Dave Attell. THanks for any info.

there is a web site. orlandobeerfestival.com
maybe that will help.
i don't know anything about it.

Wow, it will be the weekend we are there. DH will be so happy. Does this make the parks busier? The ticket price seems pretty high, is it worth it? Does this get really rowdy?

That's what i'm wanted to find out too. Maybe someone will come along that can tell us. It's 19.00 bucks for the sunday we could attend it. We are not drinkers but it might be fun.

The parks do get a slight attendance boost, but people who go to beerfest tend to stay at beerfest. It's got live music, sample dishes from various Citywalk venues, etc.

So it's at citywalk DM? And there's samples of foods from various resturants? Where at citywalk to they hold this event? THanks so much for answering this post.

Indeed, it's at Citywalk. I'm not sure how they set it up or the specific location, but you can still get around in CW and go to the restaurants and get to the parks without having to do anything involving beerfest. There are platters from the CW restaurants, usually small, but they are available ad are usually under $5.

Does it get rowdy and wild? I don't want to feel like I'm on an expisode of Wild On! LOL

We went last year and had a great time. If you purchase your ticket early I believe it costs 20. if you purchase the day of it will cost you 25. I believe the dates are the 9th and 10th of Nov. When we went last year they had over 150 different varieties of beer and wine coolers and such. Your purchase of the ticket entitles you to a lanyard that will hold your ticket and drivers license for identification, you will also get a small plastic cup which they will fill only 2ounces at a time. But, you may refill as many times as you wish. Don't lose this cup. You will not get another one unless you pay for it. Don't forget to ask for the freebies as you pass by each booth. Last year we got free t-shirts from some of the vendors. I can't remember the times each day but they were something like 1-5 or 2-6pm. If your interested in getting a buzz it will definitely happen. If you have any questions feel free to ask.
