Been to Pecos Bill's lately?

On an updated menu I read it had taco salads listed on Pecos Bill's menu. I don't recall ever seeing one in the past. I know that when they are open that El Pirata whatever, whatever has taco salads. I've never been fortunate enough to be there when they are open though. I checked the menu here at DIS and there is no taco salad listed at PB.'s Is this new?

Sorry don't know about the salads, but I have another Pecos Bill question.

Does anyone know if the fixins bar still has the sauteed mushrooms?

Epcotgal: Yes, we ate at Pecos Bill's two weeks ago and they had taco salads. Didn't eat it, but it did look good.

Tiggr33: Yes, they still have sauteed mushrooms. Put them on my chicken wrap and DD6's cheeseburger.

Thank you for your replies. I like the burgers there but thought in case one of us in the party isn't in a burger mood the taco salad would be a good option.

It's no longer on the fixin's bar! I was so disappointed. I read somewhere on the boards that you could order it with your meal but it was extra. I didn't think about ordering it until after I already had our meal. I didn't want to wait in the line again to get it.

This doesn't have anything to do with what folks are talking about but....I love Pecos Bill! I insist we go there at least once per trip.Great burgers!

I had two taco salads the first week of June at Pecos Bill. We had not eaten here very often in the past, maybe only once and thought it was pretty good.

Now I am anxious to try to taco salad. The cheese sauce has been gone for a while. DD misses it. We did remember to ask for some last time - they didn't charge us extra for it. We were on the dining plan and I remember checking to make sure they hadn't used a snack credit because I would have preferred to pay out of pocket. We love Pecos Bill's. Our first day tradition is to arrive, check in, leave our bags if the room isn't ready and head for the MK and PB's.

They sure do have it My best friend had it there on our 1st MK day and we went back to MK twice and when it was time to eat, she made me go alllll the way from tomorrowland over to Pecos Bill's just so she could have some more

We have had the taco salads at El Pirita (sp) and love them. So if they are the same thing, you'll like them too! I'm a jicima chicken salad girl, myself. DH loves those burgers!!!! When they had the cheese sauce, DH would put it on his cheese burger, and I swear, it was the BEST burger we've ever tasted. I got to have swipe two bites of his burger that trip....lucky me!

Yum taco salad ! I look forward to trying that next trip. Last year I tried the chicken wrap and it was really good too! Makes a nice change from the burger. However I was dismayed to see that they had changed the seating from chairs to stools. I have a bad back (or rather weak stomach muscles ) and had get a table next to the wall to lean on , otherwise it starts to ache a bit!
