Been to DTD lately??

Has anyone been to Downtown Disney lately and been in the create your own t-shirt shop? I wanted to get shirts made for our upcoming trip but never did, so now I am thinking of just getting them there.

Apparently, they are made pretty quickly, and can even be sent to your resort.

I am wanting to know if they have the Disney Font (I am sure they do)? Also, prices and anything else you can tell me.

I stopped in the other night. It is very cute. It does take about 15 minutes for a shirt to be made due to the drying process. All shirts are made using an ink-jet printer.

I didn't try it, so I don't know if they have the Disney font. I would assume so. I really didn't pay any attention to the prices.

We were there last week. It seemed like a simple process. Although we did not buy one. We looked for quite some time though. We did get there Disney Ears that you can custom make.

I made one 2 weeks ago for DBF as a surprise for his birthday trip I'm taking him on to WDW in few weeks!! I got him a red t-shirt, with a pic of Mickey holding a birthday cake on it and the wording "I AM 30 TODAY!!" on it as well as the WDW logo and Where Dreams Come True wording.

There were about 6 different fonts - I tried them all before settling for the plain bold one - it looked better - and there are lots of pre-made sayings and logos as well as having the option to create your own and have the writing straight or curved.

I bought an adult large size T-shirt and it was $24.95 plus tax I think. DFB will love it and he'll wear it in the parks on his actual birthday

Also - the busyness of the store varied - one evening there were lines at every creative terminal - when I went in one afternoon to collect the T-shirt (had it made one evening and collected the next day) it was practically empty!!

I can take a picture and post it if anyone is interested....just shhhh don't tell Aaron lol!!

I was at DTD about a week ago and tried the machines out but stopped short of buying a shirt thinking they would be one of those shirts that after 3 washes the design and name would be gone!Does anyone know if they last?
