Welcome to my new PTR! I’m so glad that you are here.

With one report just about finished I figured it’s time to start the new one!
One thing I have to say is: expect a ton of pictures!! My readers from last TR will know that I post a LOT of pictures in my updates.
I hope that you all will comment. I love hearing and getting to know you all. I’ve met some great friends here on the DIS and I hope to meet some more. Please do not be shy.
Yes, we’re going to WDW AGAIN!! I’m sure you can relate and you won’t give me that ‘You must be crazy look’ that the rest of the world gives me when I let the cat (well, mouse, in this case) out of the bag.
Now that you know we’re pixie dustin’ Disney, go get a drink, some snacks, strap little aviators through the center strap before buckling. (I have a crush on Patrick! Sh!! Don’t tell DH!), and lets get planning for the next three trips.
This is a TRIPLE PTR! I’m currently planning three trips to visit the mouse.
November 2010
March 2011
October/ November 2011.
We’ll be getting the weekday pass in November.
I don’t have too many details about the trips yet but I have a ton of Disney nights and crafts to post while I get everything together.
Quick intro for those who don’t know us:
We have yours truly.
Hi, I’m Barbara and I’m the ultimate planner when it comes to vacation planning. I am a part time elementary school art teacher, as well as a full time Mommy. I love scrap booking, photography, my family, and everything and anything Disney related. (I’m sure you all can relate on the last one!) Hehe!
Favorite character: Donald Duck
Favorite ride: I couldn’t choose one so I’m doing one for each park.
MK: Haunted Mansion
Epcot: Soarin’
DHS: TSM
AK: The Safari

Next we have the kids.
Amy: 11 years old and is definitely my girly girl. She loves art, Disney, and dance. She also loves to play her clarinet and saxophone. During the school year she does dance and softball. Amy is my partner in crime for creating art projects for my job and Disney planning.
Favorite character: Tinkerbelle
Favorite ride:
MK: Space Mountain
Epcot: Sum of All Thrills
DHS: TSM
AK: Everest

Emily: 14 years old and my free spirited child. This girl does some crazy thing. She definitely has a mouth all right. Never stops to take a breath. Some things she says I fall out of my chair laughing and some get her in trouble.
She plays the piccolo and flute, softball, volleyball, and recently joined the city swim team.
Favorite Character: Doesn’t have one
Favorite ride:
MK: HM
Epcot: Soarin’

DHS: TSM
AK: Dinosaur

Mitchell: My amazing husband as well as an amazing Daddy! He is so good with the kids and will do anything for them. They LOVE him. He is also my third child sometimes. He is too funny! He is an assistant manager for a publishing company.
Favorite Character: Figment
Favorite ride:
MK: Space Mountain or Buzz
Epcot: Soarin’
DHS: TSM and RNRC
AK: Everest and Dinosaur

Welcome, Jackie! I'm so glad to have you here.
 Is it sad that I memorize the entire pre-show for Soarin' and HM?
Here! Great intros (:
:welcome:. Thanks, Sara

This update is all about Toy Story!
The weekend before Toy Story 3 came out we had our very first disney night. We did Toy Story 1 and 2 and it worked out great because both of the movies were on Disney Channel.:thumbsup2 It was also Mitch's family party.
A look at the table:

We had Ham's pig in a blanket, Green alien's green salad, and Bo Peep's lamb chops.
I was going to decorate with old toys on the counter but we were busy all day and I knew we would be having lamb chops at mid night if I decorated with toys, too.
For our activity, we played Ping The Nose On Mr. Potato Head!

Since I was busy in the kitchen, I asked Amy if she wanted to make the game for me and she gladly accepted to take on the challenge. I just showed her what to do.
We also had the movies on in the family room.
Now, here comes the nightmare.
We decided we would bake DH's birthday cake and decorate it TS. In thought oh it can't be too difficult! Wrong! Let's just say it was an epic fail
(Oh boy, I've been with teenagers too long!)
I'll let the pictures talk.

The girls helped a lot with it. Oh, and the door bell rang when we were decorating so I went to go get it. I come back and Emily poured yellow food coloring all over it! Yeck! She insisted it would be better then the star sprinkles I bought.
The next day Amy and I went to the mall. There she adopted this little guy.
DSC02932.jpg

Naturally, she named it Tink.
We went to NJ to visit my mother for a few weeks and just got back on Monday.
Amy insisted Tink goes to see TS3 with us. So I agreed. Well, after the movie we went to the grocery store and I noticed I had my camera and the green alien. So let's just say Tink had some fun.
"I wonder if Andy will play ball with me!"
DSC02983.jpg

"I'll get that for you, Barbara! O.K, I guess I can use some help"
DSC02984.jpg

"Ohh, a stranger from the outside."
DSC02986.jpg

"What's for dinner?"
DSC02987.jpg

Just relaxin'
DSC02988.jpg

We were no where near home so I knew I would never see these people again and the store was basically empty. I would of never done it at home.
We LOVED the movie! It's so clever and well done. The girls saw it again at their cousin's b-day party. Mitch still hasn't seen it. Poor guy! We're going with him to see it AGAIN this weekend.
Lastly, after seeing a ton of disers make the green alien cupcakes I just knew we had to, too.
DSC03000.jpg

We used M & Ms, life saver gummies, and toothpicks.
We decided to be wild and made Mr. Potato Head and Buzz Lightyear gummies, too.

Excuse the frame, I took a picture from my mom's camera.

I love that Amy named the alien tink (:
Your cupcakes came out cute- I like the Mr. Potato head ones
That's Amy for you. It doesn't surprise me at all that that is what she decided to name it.
Thanks.
I'm here!!! Yippee for three trips!!! :yay: Great Toy Story family night.
:welcome:
Thank you! It was really fun. I decided our next few will be Ratatuillie (or something close or far to that), Finding Nemo, and Donald Duck for my b-day next Friday.:goodvibes

Finding Nemo is one of my favorites! Can I come? :)

I guess our next three trips are October 2010, March 2011, and July 2011. That spreads things out pretty good, so I am satisfied with that. I'd love to have a holiday trip, but that's not happening this year.

I saw all the Toy Story plates and such in Walmart when I was there shopping for camp this week. Too cute! I like that the girls enjoy helping you. Jill always loved to be in on things going on in the kitchen, too.

Thanks for posting in my pretrip report! It looks like we left Orlando in November the day after you arrived there!

I love your Toy Story night. I always get the good ideas to have themed family nights, but I never the plans never get out of my head and onto the table :rolleyes1

Planning 3 trips at once? I'd have a total stroke! I can barely handle planning one without stressing myself out completely.

Aren't those the cutest cupcakes!! Very well done! And I dare say yummy too. ;)

Sure! Of course, you'll have to stop at Epcot on the way home to ride the actual ride.:)
That's a nice way to spread things out. Every year I say next year we're going for Halloween instead of the Holidays but I always change my mind.
I got all of our TS stuff at Walmart. Amy will help with anything; cooking dinner, being the guinea pig on a new art project, etc. Emily only likes to help in the kitchen of we're baking.

:yay: Welcome, Denise!
Subbing! your girls are so cute and I can't wait to read more! =)
:welcome: Thanks for the kind words.
I love that the LGM's name is Tink! :lmao: Your cupcakes turned out super cute!
:rotfl: Poor LGM! At least he gets treated better then his friend that got chosen to go home with Syd.
Thank you. There were a ton of fun to decorate.
Aren't those the cutest cupcakes!! Very well done! And I dare say yummy too. ;)
Thanks! They were very good.

Hope you're ready for some towel animal fun tonight!
