Been planning a beach vacation and keep coming up with reasons to just go to WDW

I'm in the middle of trying to find somewhere decent for a reasonable price to stay when we go to Ocean City, MD in June. Everytime I look at the rates I think.......we could go to WDW and get a hotel for cheaper and drive there. We already have days left on passes from a couple of years ago.

I think I've told my DH this about 5 times this week.

We decided to forgo our annual OC trip this year, and instead, we are headed to Orlando. To satisfy our need to go to the beach, we will be staying at Sanibel Island instead. Something tells me its a MUCH nicer beach than Ocean City.

Ocean City has gotten so expensive, and so touristy, that I really no longer enjoy myself there anymore. I do love Rehobeth, but its not cheap either.

Have fun on your vacation, whatever you decide.

I'd go to WDW and lay on the beach at the BCV. But, I've never been to Ocean City, so I can't compare.

Oh, there is no comparison with WDW and Ocean City. WDW would win everytime. The only problem is that Ocean City is about 16 hours closer and we would only have to take 2 days off work. It is just a quick long weekend get a way, but sure wish I was planning for 7 days at WDW!!!!

Our 2001 trip to WDW came about because of the "I can go to WDW for less than what it cost to go to ___________" statement. LOL ---And notice we stayed at the Beach Club on that trip? It started out as staying at the All-Stars....but then there was a discount code...... then......

Our 2002 trip was SUPPOSED to be to Cedar Point. But AGAIN...."I can go to WDW for less than Cedar Point is going to cost because all I can find is an expensive room." Well, we ended up just staying home instead....and went to the White Mtns, NH later in the year.

THIS YEAR..... we are attempting Cedar Point again.
