Hubby and I are planning a surprise trip this summer for our 13 year old and her best friend. Our daughter just changed schools recently and is heartbroken about leaving her best friend. What better way to give them a focus than to talk about Disneyworld!! The trip may end up not being a surprise:confused: Anyhow, I checked out Mousesavers and can't find any codes available for when we want to go (August 1 - 8)we are Disney visa card holders though and I found a good airfare out of Manchester, NH on SouthWest. Does anyone have any advice for us on finding a good deal on a Disney resort? My daughter has always stayed with us on property and her friend...believe it or not has never been to Disney so we just can't go down there and stay off-site. I just fractured my ankle on Valentine's Day too so this trip will give us all something to look forward to. Looking forward to chatting with my fellow Diser's.

It's to soon for codes to be out for your dates yet...but we can always hope. The Disney Visa rates seem great, so I would go ahead and check into them if you qualify.

Have a Great Trip.:earsboy:

Not that you asked, but in your case I would tell your daughter about the trip as soon as you have some of the details worked out. It sounds like she needs something to get excited about and look forward to. The planning is such a big part of a WDW vacation and this will give her and her friend something to read and get excited about. BTW, what a nice thing to do for your daughter!!!

Thanks Tigger and Belle,
I just looked up the Visa offer and found a nice discount for rooms until July 4; we are possibly going to switch our vaca to the last week of June and take advantage of the low rates. Is there are new 800 number for reservations? I used the old one when the Disney Club was still around :(

I don't think that there is a toll-free number for reservations, but you might try posting a thread with that question in the title and you could then find out for sure. Or do a search. I use my cell phone, which has long distance included.

Try this #877-939-3732. It is for the Disney TravelCompany. I have used it to make my reservations and for my priority seating.
