My daughter has been Potty-trained for almost 2 years, but still was wearing pullups at night until about a month or so again. She occasionally has an accident at night but is fine most nights, and she refuses to wear "baby diapers" anymore.

That being said, it suddenly dawned on my that I don't want her to wet the bed and ruin THEIR mattress. Do you know if they have covers on the mattresses? What do you do to prevent this?

My DS was still having night issues our last trip. I brought along an air mattress for him to sleep on. I did have to wash his sheets twice, so mae sure to bring along quarters.
Another idea, they usually are sleeping pretty hard after a long Disney day, you could wait until she falls asleep and then sneak a pull-up on her...

When we went two years ago, I just used the bed pads like are used in hospitals. They sell them in most stores right next to adult diapers. They are called underpads. That's actually what we used at home too. I did put them under the sheets, but if he wet the bed, I would strip the bed and roll it up so the outside was totally dry. Then I would try to find housekeeping and tell them.

We also take him to the bathroom every time one of us gets up at night. That helps a ton.

I think you can make a request to mousekeeping to put a plastic sheet over the mattress, but unless you potentially want to spend part of your vacation washing sheets, pajamas, etc (which is easier if staying in a condo or DVC, not so easy if in a hotel) pullups/goodnites might be the easiest thing to do.

They will provide a plastic sheet. They will also change the bed in the middle of the night - though you may need to wait around before someone gets there.

I wish I'd thought of some of these! We brought a couple new trash bags with us and I just put them under the sheets so if there was an accident it wouldn't get to the mattress. We also got him up every time one of us got up. He never did pee the bed anyways! But I slept better not worrying about it.

Jonah still wets the bed sue to his medication. Sometimes he even wets through pullups. I requested the plastic sheet, and when we get there I'm going to ask for extra sheets incase we wake up with wet bed in the middle of the night

We use Good Nights disposable panties. My DD9 calls them her sleeping panties. They work well, and look like panties. They are made for bigger kids, so DD has no problem wearing them.

We were at Pop and were told they don't have waterproof mattress pads. We were given one of those bags they put over the laundry carts after our son had an unexpected accident. He hadn't had any trouble at nights for a long, long time (like a couple of years) but he was so exhausted by night six out of seven that he slept right through. I do know that everyone at Pop was extremely accomodating when I called them early in the morning to ask for help. While we were gone during the day they brought a new mattress. I felt awful about the oops, but they handled everything so kindly and professionally.

I would definitely consider some kind of pullup if you can. She will probably be more tired and may sleep more soundly. I put pullups on my youngest at night even though she didn't wear them at home.

Somewhere on here I read a tip about getting disposable bed pads - you can find them near where Depends and other adult incontinence products are sold (I found them at Walgreens.) Put one under the sheet and if it gets soiled, you simply remove it, toss it, and replace with a fresh one. The ones I bought come in packs of 10.
