I know that the beds in the Deluxes hotels are queens as compared to doubles in the Mods. I don't think that the few inches more in a queen make that much difference in the size.

When we stayed at the BWI 2 yrs. ago and GF last year, the beds were amazingly comfortable. Far better than any other hotel I've stayed at.

How does the comfort of the beds compare? We leave tomorrow :cool1: for a week at POFQ.

Stayed at FQ two years ago this month. The mattresses were not bad at all, other than being full sized, although I will say this, they seemed larger than regular fulls for some reason. Enjoy your trip!

Remember that Queens are longer AND wider than Fulls.

You're right, but only by a few inches.

Double/Full 54" x 75"
Queen 60" x 80"

Not enough IMO to make much difference. Now if the deluxes had king-size beds (in each room), that would be a different story.

I agree. I'm very happy with the $$ of a mod, and I reserved a King. For me, that's the best of both worlds! (With the money I saved on room, we're dining at signature restaurants 2 nights.)

It makes more of a difference to those of us who are over 6 feet tall. :thumbsup2

I agree! I'm 5'7" (67") and unless I want my head on the headboard, my feet are hitting the bottom of a full sized bed.

Additionally that 6" of width is quite a bit when you're trying to get away from a snoring DH! :lmao:

We can't sleep in a double bed. When we've gotten to a hotel and the king bed room we booked wasn't available, we've either left and gone to a different property, or in rare cases took seperate doubles.
