Mmmm.. would love to check out one of the Amish Auctions mentioned above.

Not to veer off topic, but they are SO much fun! Plus the proceeds from the ones in WI that we go to are used to pay the expenses for their Amish school, so I figure that's a good cause. 200 quilts at the last one, and probably 50 pieces of furniture (plus tons of smaller wood items, and wagons of "stuff").

We like used wooden furniture. Just got bed frame, dresser with mirror and two night stands old style dark wood, with iron railing in mint condition for $450
Cheaper, better made and easy to refinish to your personal style.

I really hate the cheap crap they make now, plus I would hate to buy really expensive bedroom set rather spend it traveling more.
