Bed wetting alarm suggestions?

I know this is a zombie thread, but when it was resurrected last month I saw it and bought an alarm. THANK YOU!!! Whoever brought this old thread back has saved me almost $20/month in pull ups. My son could NOT be woken up before this alarm. We would try so hard - carrying him to the bathroom, standing him in front of the toilet, and he could never wake up enough to actually go. We bought the alarm Feb 3. It took a few days for him to start waking up for it (it has vibration and/or sound, we used both). But now before we go to bed we can just go in and whisper to him to get up and use the potty one more time. He does, and is dry in the morning!
He's going to be 8 in May, and has been so embarrassed about his pull ups that he never wanted to do overnight things with friends. Nobody had ever told me there was an alarm I could try - the pediatrician just kept saying he would grow out of it.
No more pull ups, and we didn't have to try the medication route - a budget saver in my book!
