Bed Rails?

I've looked around and I can't find the answer to this - we'll be staying concierge at AKL this September. DS will be 27 months and probably transitioned to a toddler bed at home by then. Last year, we got a wooden crib from the Poly concierge, but I'm not sure what I should do this year. I'm leaning towards asking for a king room with a daybed and getting a bed rail.

Does Disney have bed rails? Has anyone gotten them? Or do I need to use ABBF for bed rails or maybe a toddler bed?

What have other people with 2 year olds done? We can't sleep in the bed together - we haven't done that since he was tiny and I couldn't sleep with him then!

We put the 2 chairs for the table in the room next to the bed on one side, and one of us slept with our toddler on the other side. Since you can't sleep with him--I'm pretty sure you can get bed rails from AKL.

I have seen it posted at the resort board that the resort do have bed rail, just ask for them they are free.

When my son was little and we stayed at the ASmo we asked for bedrails and they were delivered within the hour. it was perfect and there is definately no charge.

They do have bed rails, they are, however, not guarenteed. So there is a chance there will be none left when you arrive.

Probably the idea I liked best (my kids were old enough they they did fine in a big bed), was to bring an aerobed or something like and put them on the floor. Packs easy, fairly inexpensive and no chance of arriving to "sorry, we are out."

Thanks, everyone! I think I'll just ask for bed rails and have a backup plan of running to Target to get one or something as a last resort!

We found out the hard way that they had bed rails. Two years ago, my DS fell out of bed and split his lip open our first night we were there. It was horrible. From now on, it's bed rails for us!!! DS will be almost 8, this time and I will request them again!!!. Call Mousekeeping after you check in and they will deliver them promptly. It took them less than 10 minutes to delilver ours last year.
