We were able to secure the rooms we needed at AKL but with airfare cost have been pushed to arrive late the evening before we're expected to check-in at WDW. A few years back we were in a similar boat and I was able to get a room at a LaQuinta for $38 including all taxes and fees through a discount posted on these boards. Unfortunately, I can't remember how I got the disount.

Do you have a suggestion for an inexpensive hotel that has an airport shuttle? If not, do you have tips for a good website or board for getting discounts? I've looked at cheaphotels.com and whats on Mousesavers without much luck.

Thanks for the help.

We did this, due to weather we left one day early - stayed at a Country Inn for $44, took the shuttle to the hotel, slept great... took the shuttle back to MCO and caught our reservation for the Magical Express to Boardwalk the next day.

I always research rates at hotels.com, check out betterbidding for either hotwire (where it lists specifically if there is a shuttle to the airport) or Priceline (no guarantees for 2 beds, or shuttles)

I did hotwire and got Country Inn - across from Country Inn was La Quinta - all the hotels in this little area looked updated, and we were very pleased with the breakfast at Country Inn! (free - bonus, had eggs, sausage and waffles!)

Thanks! I hadn't thought of using Priceline and similar sites so I'm going to give that a shot.
