Dave: What a wonderful WO you had! I really think the palities will help (the way you spell it makes me think of polite tease--hmmmm). I hope you and Erica enjoyed
Run Fatboy Run.
Beth: Oh, I'll get my ice cream...it's just a matter of time. It's actually better this way, because if I want Ben & Jerry's this weekend, we'll have a short hike (~1.5 miles) to get it. I'm so happy that your DS helped get you out the door--I love that so many of our Lean Meaners/WISHers have supportive family! Btw, I get hungrier in the Spring & Fall, regardless of what I'm doing; I'm calling it the spring munchies.
Tracey: I loved the story about your DS, too!

Thanks for the compliments with the pics; really, having my photo taken with characters is about the only time you'll see me with a natural smile on my face! You're another Pilates girl, huh? Amy's getting me on that bandwagon, with Dave driving the horses!
Shan: Wasn't that rain unbelievable??!! I don't mind the rain myself, but it changed everyone else's touring patterns, so it's a good thing DOOD bought us APs because then I don't feel "cheated." Now if I could just get him to invest in DVC. I posted lots of stuff about the trip, but the most convenient place is probably on the WISHers turning 40 thread. (I think I'm one of the happiest people on that thread...probably because of a great b-day celebration.

) How was your trip, aside from the continuing problems with the leg

and the good news about the break-even no-real-weight gain?

Details & pics, please!
Connie: I think it's great that you're doing OKC in honor of Aloha Jeff's friend. The event's support and organization sounds phenomenal! I'm sure you'll have a great time. Adolescent girls!!
Jeanne: I'm so glad you're going to ToT, as I'm really looking forward to meeting you as a Lean Meaner & fearless captain!

You're reminding me that we need to get going on the reservations, if not the registration. *Sigh* So many different ways to spend our money....
Lisa: You wore a bellhop outfit to ToT?? Pics, please!!!
Maria: Good job with the regular motion & the double-dipping on the walking. Ain't springtime grand? Hah, it sounds like our young'uns have a bad case of Peter Pan syndrome (or maybe Wendy syndrome, as that seems to be more accurate).
Mike: I'm so sorry to hear about your 17hr days. And the ex stopping by...

Hey, maybe Aloha Jeff can hook you up with a dive instructor gig--which sounds like a dream job to me!
As for me: Today is the first day in a long time I had a little twinge in my hip when I tried to run. I made it through a 5K distance, then called it good and shifted to XT. It didn't seem to cause a problem biking or on the elliptical, but I had some discomfort rowing. Not sure what's going on, because it doesn't feel familiar and I didn't detect it on my regular pedestrian commute. Maybe it was just poor form, as I was up super early today to squeeze in a full WO at the gym & early a.m. isn't good for my ability to focus. I'll ice it tomorrow and Friday, and see what happens on Saturday's run.
I also made my second batch of protein bars. Better than the first, but not by much, and the carb/protein ratio is off. I'm going to switch over to sweetened whey protein & see what I can do. DOOD says they're much better than the first, btw, and he'll eat them like he ate the others. But he's kind of like Mikey from those Life cereal commercials--he'll eat anything I put in front of him.
