You sound like me I should be doing school work as we speak I love the jewelry and what an awesome cause I have two cats myself I love the centerpiece, you should add one of the big seashells I think they are called a conch??? Thank you! Yes, I keep procrastinating... and it seems like I have wayyy more work this semester than last one, it's only week two of my quarter (Drexel has a weird system so I have three quarters in the year) and I'm already overwhelmed. The good news is that Jason says since he already has a job lined up I don't have to torture myself by trying to work as much as possible to make money, since he'll be able to support us in two months

And the conch shell is a good idea! I actually have a real one from when we took our cruise to the Bahamas, but I might try to buy one that's a little smaller and more polished. The one that I have was just from a guy selling them one the side of the road, and it's huge and still smells like the ocean... just can't get that smell out!!

Centerpieces are looking good

Yes I love cats, so the fact this this purchase supported such a good cause was awesome! Actually, both my family and Jason's family are big cat people. My mom absolutely loves cats, we had two but unfortunately my baby passed away last summer But Jason's family takes the cat love to a whole other level! His stepmom is part of a group that fosters cats until someone adopts them, so at any given time they have about 15 cats in their house!! And if no one adopts a cat for some reason they basically end up keeping it forever, so they have about 8 cats that are permanently there.

There is a possibility we will be there at the same time! Our trip is from June 26th-July 1st. I'm not sure what day we are going to Universal either. Jason's family is organizing everything, which drives me a little crazy because it's weird not to have any input in the planning! But if it's one of the days where we overlap, we definitely have to meet up! I'll keep you updated!

Monogram

So I toyed with the idea of trying to create my own monogram, but I couldn't really do anything that I loved... I don't have great graphic design skills! But then the wonderful Jen (aka lilsqueakerr) volunteered to do one for me, and she did an amazing job!!

I love it, it's exactly what I was going for. Now I just want to try and put it on everything I possibly can! I'm going to make stickers to put on the bags for the candy buffet, and I think I'll try and print it on the welcome bags... where else can I put it?

Haha, girlie I'm so happy that you like it! Makes me feel so good to make something that you loved and I get to be a part of your wedding! hehe. I got my hands in everyone's wedding I think??

So, hmm.. where else can you put it?? Favor tags?? Tears of Joy packets?? Make it into an iron on transfer and put it on a tshirt or tote bag? lol. Idk, I'm just trying to think of where I want to put mine! haha.

Thank you! I will have to look into that wax seal option. DF already has a few wax seal materials, but probably not enough to do all the invites! I'm really liking mixbook so far. What size book did you end up getting?

I ended up with the biggest book they have. Not sure the exact size. It came in the mail and will definitely post pics when I finally get to updated my PJ. I really liked how it turned out. I chose the biggest size because I just wanted to make sure there was enough room. What size are you getting?

I'm trying to decide. At first I was going to go with 8" x 6", because most guest books I've seen are usually kinda small, but with all the pictures and quotes I'm almost definitely going to bump it up to 8.5 x 11. I think that should be a good size!

Who knows if I'll be able to get to everything. But I'm almost done addressing the invitations, so then I can proceed to some of these other things. My Birthday!

So today is my birthday, and I was a little bummed about it because my family is all far away and I recently moved out here and don't really have any friends nearby, so I was pretty sure I was spending the day alone. To cheer myself up I decided to go to the King of Prussia mall (apparently the second largest mall in the country!), and do some shopping! My family mostly gave me money instead of gifts, and I know they would want me to spend it, so I did.

And most of that money spending was done at the Disney Store! I was most excited about getting some new vinylmations (I got two). I also did the 2 for $24 t-shirt deal. Here are the two I got:

Then I also decided to get a small stuffed animal, so I got Marie from the Aristocats. I like cats And when I got to the register, they told me if I spent over $30 I could get a Bambi stuffed animal for only $5... and goodness knows Disney plush is expensive! So I also got Thumper:

Then I could finally open my vinylmations. I got one from the animation series, one from Toy Story. Here are my new friends:

In an interesting coincidence, I got Marie! Apparently she was very popular with me today. I also got Lotso from the Toy Story collection. He's not my fave, maybe when I go down to Disney I'll trade him in for something else... we shall see! I don't really like the bad guys as much, hence why I'm not really interested in the villains collection!

I also found this little guy at the Lego store, which I plan to give to Jason:

My parents gave me the Sims Medieval, which I have been playing a lot. I also bought myself a new purse and the Lego Harry Potter video game. And then when I got home Jason's family invited me over for dinner, so I didn't have to eat alone! We had salmon loaf and it was amazing. All in all it was a very good, Disney day

By the way - just to tie in something wedding related - for my birthday present Jason is going to get us dance lessons for our first dance! We probably won't actually go until June, so we will hopefully remember it better for the wedding, but I think it will be fun!
