Becky and Jeff- 2/8/10 BW Croquet Lawn/LSS/UK Lochside- TR- Update 8/8 dessert party

Oh Becky, what gorgeous pictures. I love the one where you have that huge smile. And I love the pinwheel bout and the birdcage.

Becky, your pictures are gorgeous but I'm never showing them to DF as he really wants me to die my hair your colour and I'm really afraid of dying my hair ;)

I love how your welcome bags and everything came together under your theme so well. Its so great how the b-day dinner worked out for both sides of your family :goodvibes Had to laugh about the Publix photo getting printed. In our family people in the photos have veto power to have it destroyed if they don't like the image :rotfl:

Your sneak peeks are so fantastic. All of your accessories, attire, and flowers were beautiful. I love the first look faces too :bride:

Aahh, Becky!!!! You are so beautiful! Love the sneak peeks! Can't wait to see more!:goodvibes

OMG Becky! I saw the sneak peek on Studio 222's blog and I was sooo excited!
You'd have thought they were my pics :rotfl2:

You looked amazing! I so can't wait for more!!!
I am loving your report as well, so glad everything came together!

Happy belated wedding day wishes to you. I have totally been stalking your pics on facebook and then saw them when they went up on Studio 222's blog the other day. I have to say GORGEOUS! You looked amazing. I love the pinwheels and all the green. I can't wait to see more and read all about it.

Congratulations to you both.

Oh Becky! The pics look FANTASTIC!!! Your hair looks amazing! I can't wait to read/see/hear more :)

Beautiful!!

Thanks!

Your welcome bags sound like they were extremely thoughtful! And I just have to say- omg!! What a knockout of a bride you made!! I'm so excited to see more of your photos! They turned out beautifully.

To top it all off, you're making me reconsider my veil again! Dammit! :lmao: Your hair looks sooo pretty with the birdcage veil!! Gah! Love it all so much!

Aww thanks!
You know I voted for the birdcage for you to begin with :thumbsup2 lol

haha my parents hardly ever ask permission when it comes to photos of me, that yearly Christmas letter could be quite embarrassing :scared1:

Thanks! I really wasn't expecting much out of the first look photos because the moment didn't really strike me as anything spectacular when it happened, but these photos make me so glad we did it!

Aahh, Becky!!!! You are so beautiful! Love the sneak peeks! Can't wait to see more!:goodvibes

Thanks Stacey! It looks like you are going on a cruise the day after us, how fun!

Thank you! I wish I could do my hair like that everyday. I have the pic of the back of my hair as my phone wallpaper (mainly for Jeff's raised eyebrow expression).

Saturday February 6th, 2010 Part 3

Our first stop at the Boardwalk was the restaurant to let them know we would be late and to see if we could just drop off the cake. It was an" ok fine" on the late and a "sorry no" on the cake. Then we trudged back to my parents room and rested a bit while wating for Jeff's family to arrive so we could head on back for dinner.

Soon we met everyone in the lobby of the restaurant

We were seated at one large table right opposite the kitchen. We realized that it didn't matter if we were late because we had that specific table booked and it was going to be there waiting for us.

Jeff got the whole fish like he had done when just he and I went a few months ago. It's fun because it comes out whole and then some guy comes and removes all the bones

I got the chicken, it was actually really really good! I think i liked it better than the steak I had here last time, and I am a steak kinda girl.
P2060228.jpg

I also got a beer because I thought the name was cool

My parents split some sangria

We sat around forever before we got around to cutting the cake. We were waiting for plates and silverware I think. At one point I gave my dad his gift which was a flash for his camera so he could take better pictures at the reception.

I think the restaurant also brought out a cupcake or something for my dad, but I don't have any photos of that so maybe I just imagined it. We did all sing to my dad and MIL and enjoyed some yummy cake. We left the rest of the cake on the table hoping the servers would eat the leftovers.

I then went back to the lobby to try and get some tickets printed for my grandpa and uncle for the next day. My dad and some others stayed behind and watched one of the performers

During dinner I got a text from my MOH that she had arrived safe and was dining at Sweet Tomatoes with my roommate. When I got home she was in the kitchen packaging up cookies for my bridal shower the next day. We changed into our PJs and talked on the sofa for awhile until I needed to head to bed since I had a 9am appointment to have my nails done!

up next Rehearsal!

Sunday February 7th, 2010 Part One - The Rehearsal!

When I set out for Saratoga Springs in the morning it was a really gloomy day. It was breezy and overcast and kinda cold. I tossed on some flip flops since I was getting a pedicure and my toes were a bit chilly. I found the parking and entrance to the spa just fine.
My appointment went really well and was super relaxing! I got a pale lavender polish on both my hands and feet as I thought it was kinda close to gray and would go well with the wedding colors. My aunt had taken care of all the costs including the tip so checkout was a breeze.
When I got home Krystin was getting ready and Jeff had already left for the Boardwalk. We decided that we needed something to cover our legs so I had Krystin dig up some pantyhose I still had leftover from when I had to wear them everyday to work and then I dug out some silver/gray tights I had. The tights were about 10 years old and seamed fine when I put them on, a bit tight.
We got to the Boardwalk with 15 minutes to spare. On the walk to the lobby my tights started to fall down, ugh! I ran to the bathroom and hiked them up. Then I had to run to the International gateway to get my aunt uncle and cousins into Epcot before the rehearsal. My tights were not going to cooperate! As I was running back to the Croquet lawn I ended up just grabbing them and hiking them up while all these random guests laughed :rotfl: not like I'm ever going to see them again anyway!
Finally we made it to the Croquet Lawn where everyone was waiting for us.
We got to discuss our guest count dillema with Carol and my mom explained her idea for displaying hers and my MIL's veils at the reception.

Vickiespicturesofwedding007-1.jpg

Then it was time to practice the ceremony with Pastor Luther!

In-Laws

After we were done we milled around for awhile deciding on our plans for the rest of the day. We decided to split up into boys and girls. Both groups wanted to eat at Earl and the boys wanted to go to Target and the girls had Tea at the Grand Floridian at 3:40.

We split up and me and my MOHs headed into the Boardwalk to check in to our room.

We were a bit bummed that we were not overlooking the ceremony site like my parents, but at least we were on the same floor.

Then I called Carol to give her my room number and we met back up with my mom, her roomie, and my MIL and headed off to Earl.

Vickiespicturesofwedding018.jpg

in the parking lot at DTD, sans tights. It warmed up a smidge when the sun came out.

When we got to Earl we ran into the boys who were just finishing up eating.
My mom and I split a sandwich and some soup since we were going to be having tea pretty shortly

Vickiespicturesofwedding019.jpg

Then we made a short pit stop to buy some cute blue mickey earrings at Arribas brothers for my mom to wear to the wedding. While we were waiting to pay I looked and saw a pen mark on my nails and made on offhand comment about it and both my MOHs jumped in saying we could fix it not to worry! They were too cute, trying to prevent a bridezilla moment even though I wasn't upset by it lol

After we bought the earrings we realized we needed to book it to the Grand Floridian for Tea!

Before I return to the TR I wanted to post a few blog links for everyone!

We were all over the blogoshpere the past few days.

First we were on Carly's blog for St Patty's day! http://www.disneyweddingblog.com/2010/03/first-look-spotlight-becky-jeff.html

Then we were on Brenda's Wedding Blog, also for St. Patty's Day http://www.brendasweddingblog.com/b...ms-first-look-with-a-little-bit-of-green.html This one features some of Jeff's views on the wedding pirate:

Then yesterday Becka posted some more teaser pics! She is sending out the CD today so I should have all my images by the beginning of next week!!!!!

Coming Up Next is our tea party fun!

Sunday February 7th, 2010 Part Two - Tea at the Grand Floridian

We left Downtown Disney and headed for the Grand Floridian. By the time we got there we all needed to use the restroom so we were plotting out which was closest. When we entered the Grand the first thing we saw was Carol helping out another bride as she had her pictures taken on the staircase! I was able to tell her that the table names were all wrong and I would just send her an e-mail about it.
After a potty break we checked in to tea.
My mom's roomie had been before there before, but the rest of us were newbies :)

We were seated by a window and were given some menus to go over.

There were so many choices and we were pretty confused. Joan told us what she was getting, and that helped. When our server came over she was very thorough and explained it all fabulously.

Erin and I decided on the special Mad Hatter blend and we got to share a tea pot.

the tea cozy's were nice and warm inside and we were so cold by the window so we kept sticking our hands in them like muffs lol

my mom had a different kind of tea so she got her own tea press thing (sorry, I'm not a tea connoisseur lol)

Vickiespicturesofwedding029.jpg

We all went with the Buckingham Palace which gave us three mini courses of finger foods.

sandwiches:

for the final course we got to pick two pastries from a tray of yumminess

It was kept right next to me and I kept eying it during our tea!

Here's what I chose:

lots of chocolate goodness, the eclair was filled with chocolate too!

and finally a group shot taken by our server
Vickiespicturesofwedding033.jpg

While we were there we watched a Bride getting her photos taken outside. I felt really bad for the cute old man who works at the Grand who was carrying her train around because it was so cold, he had on these cute white gloves.

It was a nice leisurely tea and we all enjoyed it a lot! Krystin was wondering how she spent 3 years living here and had never been before! I would definitely do it again. I will probably take Jeff as he loves tea and was kinda sad he couldn't go.

After tea was over we split up and Krystin and I went back to my place and Erin drove everyone else back to their hotels to be picked up later for my bridal shower.

Up next: Bridal Shower full of baked goods and Victoria's Secret.
