Because of Food Court Closing - All Star Music or Pop?

I have booked All Star Music for the last week in August (missed free dining by 1 week.:sad1:). I am now second guessing as I think about the food court being closed at All Star Sports. I believe Disney will be bussing folks from Sports to Music and Movies for food court. Do you think that will have a major impact on the crowd levels at Music and Movies?

Music is the only value we haven't stayed at, but perhaps we want to change to Pop, even if it is an extra $60 for the week.

Maybe I am thinking too much about this...

I would assume a big bump on crowds at the food court until the refurb is done

Might be worth the 60, plus Pop has cooler pools

I know someone that did just that for the reason they thought the food court would be crowded and didn't want to be bused........go for Pop Century, it is worth the extra $60.

Definitely POP Century - and they just rolled out a brand new menu at the food court that looks really good! (deep fried ice cream!) - that might be worth the extra $60 alone.

Off topic, but have you checked to see if you have the free dining PIN on your account? I never received notice of it, but when I called and had them check, there it was! It starts 8/25, which just happened to be the first day of our stay! I had already booked before I got the PIN, but they applied it and we upgraded to POFQ instead of POP so we could get the full dining plan. Worth a phone call if you haven't already!

We upgraded to CBR due to the refurb. We really like ASMu but I didn't want to take the chance of the food court being overrun due to serving two resorts. Since it is closest to ASSp, I would think most people would use ASMu rather than go to ASMo. I was also thinking that bus lines to the park would be longer due to people coming over and eating breakfast at ASMu and then heading to the parks instead of going back to their resort.

Thanks guys. Changed to Pop. We did contact to see if there was a PIN associated with anyone in our household, but no good. Now, my friend who lives the next town over got one, so as we all know, who gets them and who doesn't is quite mysterious!

^^ THIS^^ I am SO jealous! We keep calling about PINs on our account for that same week and nothing. :sad.
