or understands how difficult it is, I have to post it here! I finally got Ohana for my 11/28 trip!! I have been trying multiple times a day and I just snagged it. There, I feel better now, thank you for your time...now what to obsess about next???

FWIW, I totally feel your pain. DH has gotten to the point where, if I ask him for a minute of his time to discuss our plans for the trip, he takes a big breath and gives a sigh before wandering over to look at whatever I'm obsessing about now. And it's usually dining reservations.

Glad for you. We're going Thanksgiving week, the trip is a surprise for my daughter and I had all these meals reserved I knew she'd love. Only I made the reservations without counting my infant son. I'd managed to get 4 of the 6 corrected. All except Akershus and Tusker House. I had Chef Mickey's so I wasn't too worried about Tusker House, but Akershus...I tried and tried. Day and night, night and day. Every thread I read about having an extra person, every kept saying "turned away". How could my princess miss out on her princess meal.

On November 2nd, I called Disney 2 times and just like every other time, I called, I had the CM searching the whole week for Akershus and CRT any time any day before 7pm. I was about to give up because I was getting behind on my trip planning. I decided to try one more time. On the 3rd call I got a lunch at Akershus and the best part was it was on our original Epcot day. I was beside myself. I think even the CM felt it. I could hear it in her voice.

I have planned many trips to Disney for my family of 5 and the joy of it never gets old to me! This trip especially because I LOVE the lights and the Christmas season but there is no one else in this home that can truly appreciate the thrill of getting that impossible to find ADR. I am so happy to have these boards validate my obssession. You complete me.

I totally agree with this - I somehow managed to get LC, Ohana, CP, Tusker House AND our first choice of candlelight processional packages all well within 180 days, but no love at all from my traveling partners. I thought about just sneaking in a finders fee but I went the honest route,

I am so jealous! We just (this weekend) decided to make a trip arriving Thanksgiving night and staying for a week. I've tried to find an Ohana opening for any of the nights we're there, with no luck. Gotta keep trying. The 28th is my birthday
