A few more updates.
I might double up on a few things here... I can't remember what I've already said
All of my BM dresses fit

two of them need slight alterations - as in shortening the straps, but that's it. I also received the BM jewellry, which is a gift for them.
It's so pretty
I ordered my tiara, it hasn't come yet because I only ordered it last night, but here are the prof. pics of it.
We decided to get our license notarized here, but the first bloke (who was going to be $200) couldn't get us in until the week of Jan 17th. However DF is going away for work, so that won't do. So he got on the phone and spoke to the only other notary in town, and he said that he could fit us in the following afternoon at 3pm. We didn't bother asking price, because we were happy enough with when he could fit us in.
We turned up to the appointment and he took us into a little office and we chatted as he notarised our forms, about everything and nothing - the wedding, the notary seal, laws from different countries, how you could only be a notary while you were still a solicitor, blah blah blah. He was really nice.
Then when we finished he said "just give the receptionist $22.50... No make it $22, just to round it out... Actually, if you don't want a receipt $20 will do..."

Maybe if we'd just kept standing there he would have dropped it further! We were so happy that it wasn't $200 that Chris gave him the $25 that he had in his wallet, and said "That's for fitting us in so quickly"
So today I'm posting away all the forms, the bank draft and our ID, so hopefully we'll get the license back soon, and that will be one more thing taken care of.
On the other side of things DF will pretty much be working away from home right up until the wedding

so I think I've pretty much got to finalise everything myself

So I have to be super organised!!
Hopefully I've found my seamstress. I'm waiting for her to get back to me to tell me whether she's got the time or not, jeez I hope she's got the time
