Beaver Tails in Arizona!

Just in case anyone didn't know, there is a Beaver Tails store that is in Phoenix, AXZ (actually in Tempe, but I'm guessing that's right by Phoenix because that's what the BeaverTails company actually said initially). I'm so happy for all of you out there! A little jealous I guess, too! Moderators, if this is the wrong place for this thread, then please move it to the correct area! Thanks!

I live near Phoenix (opposite side than Tempe). What is Beaver Tails? What am I missing????

****edited to add that I just read the other post so I know what it is now! It does sound yummy, but not yummy enough for an hour drive. Of course, if I'd have had one before I would maybe feel differently

I'll tell you if you send one to me! Actually, they used to sell them at Trapper Bob's in the Canada pavillion at WS. They're a Canadian fried pastry that is supposed to kind of be the shape of a beaver tail, thus the name, and they come with all kinds of yummy toppings from fruit to hazelnut! You can get a good idea of what they are from the site. The Phoenix location is the only one currently in the US, but they said that they're planning many others in the next TEN YEARS! I don't think that I can wait that long!
