Beauty and the Beast $10 blu ray coupon now live

Got mine :thumbsup2

I thought I was going to have a problem b/c the cashier kept making these rude comments like "This coupon is probably fake" and "I don't see how your total could be less than the $5 deposit for Toy Story," but I walked out paying $3.92 today plus the $5 deposit so $8.92 total!!

If a cashier spoke to me that way I'd call her manager and the corporate offices and tell them how I don't appreciate being accused of stealing from their store when I was simply using a legitimate coupon issued by Disney. How dare she say that to you

That was rude!!! I'd be very upset if someone accused me of having a fake coupon knowing darn good and well that it came from the manufacturers site!!

My TRU trip was ok. I bought a couple very small items along with BATB. I did everything in the right order but before she scanned my $10 coupon she said it wouldn't work. I said yes it will, just try it. She scanned it, then stared at the screen. I told her my total should be under $10. She said $8.XX. I swiped my card and off I went. Even with the minor blip, way way way easier than Tinkerbell. So ready for this TRU deal to end though.

Honestly, I thought about it and would have spoken with a manager, but I was on my lunch break and thus in a hurry. I may still call or send a letter. I almost said " Are you accusing me of something illegal?" I DID say "It came from Disney's website. You're welcome to check it out."

I am so bummed out! My printer locked up when I went to print the coupon and now I'm out of luck. I even went to the library to try but their system wouldn't let me install the coupon printer.

I just about had a heart attack when I went on the Barnes and Noble website, the cost of the DVD was $23.99 but that is only online! I checked availability in the store because we are going for story time anyway - the in store price is $39.99!! That is the Member's price, no price matching. Looks like I'll be heading to Target today!

Thanks for the coupon link, I can't wait to see the movie again, it is my favorite! Enjoy, everyone!

In that case, I would've ceased the transaction on principle -- let the cashier explain to the store manager why the sale wasn't competed...

Has anyone had problems getting a store to accept their coupon? I went to the Disney store at MCO to get the Tinkerbell movie when it came out and they refused to take my coupon. We were leaving for home that day and my coupon was only good in the USA.

I just got in from shopping. I was able to pick up Beauty and the Beast at Target for $24.99 and used the $10 off coupon with no problem so it only cost $14.99. $2 more than TRU or Walmart but, since I'm not a fan of either store, I didn't mind paying it.

I'm so excited to be able to see the movie again! Good luck to all those using the coupons. Enjoy!!

I paid 2.99 out of pocket for the Beauty and the Beast, with the pre-order for Toy Story 3. It rung up through just fine, and didn't have to call the manager. Although the one that helped me with the Tink transaction was there, and I told her everything went fine. I think that made her day.

I didn't use the Tink gift card, I figured I'd save that for the TS3 movie.

I forgot my tink card but your receipt is the same as mine, although I think they slapped tax in there.

so for $8 I got BatB and the preorder for TS3. Plus I know there wil be another $10 coupon and my $10 tink GC and I'm set.

SO... here's my TRU receipt. I ended up with quite a steal, I think. The guy who rang me up came and got me out of the long line of people with toys and told me he could take me over at electronics. I was like, who me? I felt like I won the lottery.
Then he saw what I was buying and he was even more excited! He said "Cool, you're here to buy that." Then, he told me about the $6 coupon in the book for use when buying B&tB with any DVD $14.99(I think) and over. I looked over and grabbed Phineas & Ferb xmas that just came out! My kids are going to love that! He said "It works in the system and I figure, it gets people in the store."
Check it out. I got B&tB for $.30 after the $10 "vendor coupon" that was taken off at the bottom & P&Fxmas for $12.68! So then I was almost floating out of the store!

The movie voucher was attached to the front of the movie (in the left lower corner). Someone may have taken it off before you purchased it -- it was just stuck to the outer packaging and wouldn't be hard to take without purchasing the DVD.

I went back to Walmart and the manager let me exchange the Blu Ray that I purchased on Tuesday for a Blu Ray that has the movie voucher attached to it. I believe the first set of DVDs and Blu Rays that Walmart had out didn't have the voucher attached to the package. When I went back this afternoon all the DVDs and Blu Rays were in clear pastic containers that the cashier had to remove.

I'm happy I got my movie voucher.

:thumbsup2 Glad you got it!

BUMP!
Quick, somebody brag on my deal I posted yesterday! :lmao:

OK here you go - Great deal!

but...

I don't understand why everyone is so excited about the Toy Story 3 pre-order at TRU.

For me, I got the one thing I wanted, BATB for $14.99.

On your deal, which please don't take this the wrong way, I'm glad that you got what you wanted and are happy about it but, you spent $20, got talked into a DVD you did not intend to purchase and will still have to pay for the Toy Story DVD when you pick it up, right? So that is 3 DVDs for $30? I'm guessing at the final cost of the Toy Story DVD.

I'm really not trying to upset the apple cart, I guess I just haven't had enough caffeine yet ...

As far as the Toy Story deal goes, you don't have to buy it when it comes in (at least not at TRU). You can just put $5 down but get $10 off of BATB. Thats a $5 net gain (or $5 extra off of the movie).

sconnell got a movie (correct me if I am wrong) that apparently they wanted anyway, with a little more off of both BATB and P&F. So I think you got a great deal sconnell. to each their own on where they get it, its just that you can get it the cheapest at TRU after putting the $5 down for TS3.

Yes, we actually did want the Phineas & Ferb xmas. I just wasn't planning to get it (and get a deal on it) that day. We always buy the kids a new Christmas movie to start playing the day after Thanksgiving while I take a nap from early morning shopping! :) Then we start decorating.
As far as putting the $5 down on TS3, it gave me an extra $10 off B&tB. So, even if I don't go back for it, I still got an extra $5 off B&tB. That brings my total for B&tB to $5.30 +tax. So, what's not to like about that? :confused3

Awesome deal Sconnell!! My TRUs didn't give me the booklet until after I purchased everything so I wasn't able to use their BATB coupon. However, I wasn't going to buy another DVD anyway, so no issues.

but YES, you got an awesome deal!!

TRUs is the CHEAPEST way to go. I ended up getting Tinkerbell for completely free and BATB for $2.99. I haven't seen anyone beating that at WM or Target. Yes, you might have to say something to the sales people since their computers may or may not work properly. But that's a very small price to pay for these prices!

Again, super deal!

Now, let's work on TS3 ... has anyone started a new thread for TS3 yet?

Smart thinking to go back and get the voucher!! I'm glad they let you do the exchange.

I love it when employees keep with sales and discounts. Hats off to them.

On the flip of the coin, you get the employees that think you're trying to steal their paycheck by using a coupon.
