Hurray for finding some fans! Now, I am really debating whether or not I should look for some the next time I head to Walmart...

Yes, it holds water and lasts for quite awhile. We didn't need to refill often, but when we did, it can be done in a second at any drinking fountain. I think ours just takes one battery and lasted just fine through our trip.

Today on my lunch I went and walked to Walmart, which is across the parking lot. I never ever shop there, but since I've been told by all of you nice people I could find things there, I did it.

I don't ever shop there either. The only reason I did was because I'd seen another thread on the Dis saying that these little fans were good and WM was the place to find them. And I could not find them anywhere else I looked.

Sounds like the one you have that fills with water is the same as the type we got. We have one lime green and one blue one. They were handy on those hot afternoons!

So exciting that you'll be in Disney so soon!

I got the exact same ones - one green and one blue! The kids are very excited about them. The mister ones came with the battery, so we tried them out. Haven't put the batteries in the other kind yet.
I can't wait to be in WDW! I will suffer the heat and humidity for Mickey any day!

When we built our house, we painted every room winter white. After 12 years, I can happily say that there is not one room left that is white!! We do have a lot of "pecan sandie" aka beige.
It's so hard to be obsessed and impatient both!

Forgot to mention how much I love Sarah's room! It's just my style. There is not a single white wall in our house. When we moved it, we only painted the bedrooms but kept the downstairs the same. The kitchen was already a beautiful sage green w/white cabinets and living/dining room is a golden brown. The bedrooms upstairs are Pepto Bismol pink (Madison's room), a bright ocean blue (our room) and what we call golf green (the office). Lots of colors!

I went to Michael's today and bought these cute little bubble bottles with little clips. We always like taking some bubbles with us to the parks to pass the time when waiting in line or waiting for parades or shows. We always seem to gather a crowd of kids around us but its better than having a bunch of screaming/fussy kids. The best part is they were in a packet of 2 for only $.49!
