All,

We are a family of 6 hoping to do the beaches in Key West, Cozumel, and Grand Cayman. Paying for beach excursions runs $200+. Anyone have a beach recommendation that we can just take a cab to at each port and $ave some money?

Thanks,
Dasha

Yes, but for 3 adults and 3 kids that $171 to go to the beach!

We went to Paradise Beach in Cozumel. It was awesome and very economical. :flower: The cab ride was $12 each way. The beach was free and our meal cost us about $35 for 3 adults, 2 kids. If you want to use the water toys such as rafts, snorkel equptment, iceberg you can buy a wristband for $5 for all day use.

In Key West, try Fort Zachary Taylor Beach. For Grand Cayman, 7-mile beach - there is public access all along. In Cozumel, my family loved Mr. Sanchos.

Check out Nachi Cocum, in Cozumel.

It's beautiful and a perfect beach for families!!

Is Mr Santos a free beach?

Yes sir it is, They have a restaurant on the beach. They also have a trampoline, you can rent jet ski's, we even did some snorkeling there as well.

Norm (for Kim)

We wanted to go to 7 mile beach in Grand Cayman? Where is it best to get the cab to take us? Is there an area with restrooms, etc. like there is in Cozumel?

Tell the taxi you'd like to go to 7 mile beach and what does the driver recommend? They'll take you - that's how we found Nachicocoom in Cozumel which is paradise. I tipped him double the fare on the way back to town, when we lucked out and had the same driver going home.
