What would be the best waterpark for little guys (5, 2 1/2 year old)?
We would only go for one day, and I think 75 per person for the little ones would be a bit much for the Disney ones.

Is Wet n Wild little kid friendly? I think about an hour drive to beaches would be ok...
Thanks

Disney's water parks aren't $75. Here is a copy right from the offical site:

Water Park Single Day Ticket

Have a day of fun in the sun. Enjoy a day's admission to either Disney's Blizzard Beach or Typhoon Lagoon Water Park.

Ages 10 & Older $45
Ages 3 to 9 $39

In my opinion, I think Disney is more "kid" friendly than W&W. As far as beaches go, I live on the west coast of FL where the Gulf of Mexico is. Our waters are much nicer for little ones. The east coast has larger waves & rip currents to watch out for.

No problem, I realized how you did it when I went back in... it did say the higher price first, then you had to scroll down...

Wet & Wild, to me, is more older kids...like local teens as opposed to Disney. There is also Sea Worlds's that would be good for you...Aquatica, I am not sure on their price, I think it's the same as Disney.

Wet n Wild is brutal in the sun for little ones. even with sunscreen, with all that concrete reflecting, mine were beat red, and there's no shade.

If you want a beach, the Canavaral National seashore has as good of waves as you'll get on the East Coast, (southern california girl here) and great seashels. Not too long of a drive.

We have done Blizzard Beach which our kids (3 and 5 at the time) loved. This time we are doing Typhoon Lagoon and Aquatica. We are going to Aquatica just for the kids area. It looks fantastic. My kids saw the pictures and it was a must do for them.

It's not a huge discount but you can lower the cost for Blizzard Beach and Typhoon Lagoon by purchasing through www.ticketmania.com. TicketMania is, I believe, an authorized ticket outlet for Disney. I've used them many times over the years for Disney park tickets, Disney Quest tickets and waterpark tickets and have been very pleased with the pricing and the service.

Current Disney waterpark ticket prices through TicketMania are $41 for adults and $34 for children (3-9). Unlike the Disney prices, these prices include tax. Shipping is an extra $6.95 per order - 7 to 10 days in the U.S. - unless you want to save the shipping and pick up the tickets there - last I knew, pick-up was at a store along SR 192 in Kissimmee.

Aquatica is running an adult ticket at child ticket price special at their website (www.aquaticabyseaworld.com). Tickets are $38.95 if purchased online.
