beaches in nassau

i have noticed that some of you have mentioned the beaches on nassau were great. what are the names of the beaches and how exactly do you get there? we are more beach goers than shoppers. are these beaches good for kids also?

Atlantis on the east end and Cable Beach on the north side. We dock on the south side in the center of the island.

so glad to see this post. ok. has anyone heard of cabbage beach? we just want to go to the beach and relax for a while. we are trying to figure out where to go and how to get there. we sail july 1st!! never been on the wonder, been on the magic 3x!

just wondering.....are the beaches in Nassau topless or nude??? I would like to do the beach there just want to protect little eyes.

I'm interested in this also. Don't want to go on a tour or anything, just a nice beach. Any suggestions? Do you take a cab?

thanks for all the info on the beaches and that was a great question about the nude beach-- i hadn't even thought of that & my 5 yr old sure would have some questions if we ended up there.
