What do you guys think of the burgers here? Obviously, the ice cream is second to none but how about the burgers? How is the bread on the burger? Is it flimsy or nice and thick? I'm a little picky about that.. i know weird. LOL

I was looking at the burgers on one of the food porn threads yesterday and thought geez I need to get me on of those whenever we go back to disney.

The burger and hot dog looked yum-yum. I hope someone post pictures. ::yes::

I've seen others on here rave about the burgers but for me, I think they are just average. On the last trip a few months ago, I had the hotdog instead and I thought it was less than average.

Since we stay at BCV a lot, we go here because it's convenient; I wouldn't travel to eat here. The place is super tiny and the waits can be very long. Food is not worth the wait, IMO.

I have to agree. There are much better burgers to be found in the immediate area. The Fountain and the Cabana (pool bar) at the Dolphin both have much better burgers than B&C.

We love B&C but haven't been for a few years. We'll try and make it this October when back.

Love the double cheeseburger & onion rings at B&C. They've always been fresh & juicy (DW says greasy-but she loves them, too!).

We love the burgers at B&C. Possibly the best on property and far better than any of the counter service places.

BTW, the ice cream at B&C is the same ice cream you get anywhere at WDW but they sure do make some fancy concoctions with it!

Killer burgers, the buns are baked fresh on the premises and they are amazing. A burger paired with onion rings and a vanilla coke and I am one happy girl!

I agree 100%

How long are the waits for lunch?

It depends in the quieter times of year, if you arrive at opening(11am) you should be fine.In the summer or holidays it can vary.I have seen people arrive shortly after opening and have to wait 45 mins or more. Forget trying to go there after illuminations lets out.

I love burgers. The freshly made, of high quality meat, cooked to order kind. That is not the kind of burger that is served and B&C. It's more fast food than high quality.

The ice cream is Edy's or similar. I think there is something about being on vacation and in that cute location that makes the ice cream seem second to none but it isn't home made and isn't of any better quality than what you can get at your local food store. Of course, that doesn't stop me from getting a No Way Jose.

This past April my wife and I had a hamburger and a No Way Jose and loved it. It was a slower time of year so we didn't have to wait long. They said it would be 45 minutes, but it was more like 10. It was the first time for us, so I am not sure if it was an exception, but the food was really very good. Very juicy hamburger cooked perfectly. The hotdog looked VERY good too, but couldn't do it...had to leave room for the No Way Jose. :thumbsup2

Dh and I are just back, we thought they were the best burgers we had ever had . . . we cancelled an ADR and went therea 2nd time! Will have pictures in my food report in a few days!!!

We arrived at 12.15 and waited 10 minutes, and arrived at 2pm and waited 45 minutes. So worth it!

This is a must do for us! We ate there twice this past trip. The burgers are really good. We ate there at 7 at night and had an hour wait and the other time got there around 3:30 and had the place to ourselves.

I know this is about the burger, but does anyone have a picture of the No Way Jose? Sounds like the perfect ending to a B&C meal!

We nearly always stay at the BCV and prior to becoming DVC members we stayed at the YC~ so we have eaten at B & C countless times. That being said, I don't think their burgers are that great. People do rave about them, and I just don't understand why! I would also have to say the ice cream is just average too. Hmmmm WHY do we eat there you ask?? It's a tradition? lol! I actually get chicken noodle soup there and a Frozen Sunshine. One of our sons always orders a BLT, DH and older DS order burgers usually. Anyway, if the wait is insane (and it usually is) I would say skip it.

I with you on the assesment of the burgers. They are OK, but I would not make a special trip for them. Now, a Kitchen Sink, on the other hand.....

As for the wait, there are so many factors that, well, factor in! Depends on when you go, I'd say, but typically you're going to wait a while!
