I really wanna go to Beaches & Cream once on our next trip, we've only eaten at a resort restaurant once, which was Chef Mickey's and easy to get too from MK. The idea of having to get there just stresses me out, so I always avoid booking them. I'm guessing the obvious would be to book Beaches & Cream for our Hollywood Studios day. I figured we could take the friendship ferry to Beach Club. I figured if we allowed an hour to get from HS to Beach Club that should be good?

Yes that would be perfect. An hour is enough time to get to BC from HS. B&C is not big place - it is hard to get an ADR.

An hour would be plenty of time to get there. In fact, you could probably cut that down to about 40 minutes (20 minutes, potentially, waiting for the boat and 20 minutes on the boat to get to the BC/YC dock).

Will you be going to Epcot during your visit? It's actually easier to get to B&C from EP as you can exit out the International Gateway between the France and UK pavilions and it's a 5 minute walk from there.

An hour is generous. From the front gate of HS it's about a 20 minute walk. The boats will be a bit longer, maybe allow 40 minutes at worst.

Agreed. And we usually don't have the patience to wait for the boat (unless it's pulling up as we walk by) so we just walk.

I second the vote for going on an Epcot day. B& C is so much closer to Epcot than HS. As previously mentioned, just a 5 minute walk tops out of the International gateway.

Beaches & Cream accepts ADR's now ?
Wow - we have tried to eat there and it was always crowded !

I think going on a HS day makes perfect sense for 2 reasons.
1. In general, HS does not have great food options.
2. Although closer to the Beach Club, Epcot has plenty of food options and I wouldn’t want to miss an Epcot meal for B&C.

ITA! :thumbsup2

Sounds like a good plan! You can also opt to go to B&C on an Epcot day, and just walk over from the International Gateway.

We did just that last month. Had to take a bus as walking was not an option for our whole group and boats were down for a bridge refeb.

You can make it in under an hour. I would be sure to have an ADR though because this place is small, and so getting in without an ADR would be slim to none.

We always eat at Beaches and Cream on our HS day because we find the food options at HS to be lacking. Like others have said, one hour is plenty of time to get from HS to Beaches and Cream.

I would try and get ADRs. while not easy, they are available. Otherwise, go at an off time afternoon when it tends to be a little less busy.
I would agree about doing it on an EPCOT day as its a short walk from IG to B&C.
You can do it from HS, but you are taking a lot of time away from that park if it matters.

How about 3 PM ?
Between lunch and dinner time.
I will try at the 60 day mark
Thank you !

We go to B&C every trip, once, sometimes twice, not for food, but banana splits, the best!! :D
We sit at the counter so no ressie needed.

Just a heads up though, if you are on the DDP, it is not a good place to use a dining credit - mostly sandwiches/ice cream.

Thanks so much for posting this! I had no idea we could sit at the counter for ice cream!
