I'm thinking about doing B&C for dinner one night on our upcoming trip for the night we have no ADR. I know they don't take ADRs, but I've also heard that it's a pretty small place. Any thoughts or advice on how to avoid a long wait or what time we should try to get there?

TIA!

Leslie

I'm interested in the answer to this question as well -- we've never eaten there but would like to on our next trip -- my son says we MUST try the kitchen sink!!! I think he's nuts!

I think if you get there around 4ish you might be ok, but it is a small place. It only has 3 or 4 tables and 3 or 4 booths. They have counter space if it's just 2 or 3 of you that would probably work. We always make this our last stop on the last day and the cheese burgers are great:dance3: ! We also try and stop there 2 or 3 times at night to get ice cream, it’s a real fun place:banana: .

We just ate there on Thursday night around 6ish. We were a family of three. We waited in line for 15 minutes. I think it's pretty much hit or miss with the crowds. We were 'lucky'....:goodvibes

By the way, the chicken noodle soup was Great!:thumbsup2 DH said the chili wasn't too his liking...too thick, he likes his chili 'soupy'. Burgers were great and so was the chicken sandwich...just thought I'd let you know.

We showed up 10 minutes before opening and were the first family seated. It didn't fill up completely for about 45 minutes. This was the Saturday before Easter.

I've gone to B&C countless times over the past several years & LOVE IT. We have seen a variety of waits. I would completely avoid prime lunch time, but a dinner like you are mentioning should have nothing more than a 25 min. wait at the most. They have four or five booths and seven or eight small tables, counter space is an option, too. You should definetely try to do this dinner! Love the atmosphere!

Are their cheeseburgers different from the usual cheeseburger offered? I'm not much of a beef eater, especially burgers, but I do like Steak & Shake cheeseburgers.

We had dinner there last Thursday as well!:wave2: Small world.

I agree that it's hit or miss. We probably checked in around 6:45 or 7 and just had to wait while the family in front of us was seated and tables for both parties were cleared.

We had Brian as a server and he was wonderful. Great Disney service.

Don't know how they compare with Steak & Shake but they are pretty good. They are bigger and thicker than average. They are definitely a cut above the parks counter service burgers. We ate there in July with a party of 6 and topped it off with the kitchen sink. We actually finished the whole thing (OK a couple people just shared a burger). We did this mid afternoon at maybe 3:30-4:00 and were told it would be a 30 minute wait but turned out to be about 15 minutes. The booths were bid enough for 6 adults.

We were staying at The Beach Club Villas in May and we couldn't get anywhere near the place. It was on our list to try but it was beyond unorganized. We heard people at the pool talking about 2 1/2 hour waits. No way for our family. This is just burgers and ice-cream. Not worth that kind of wait to me.

Oct 07 we went at 6:30, told 40 minutes for the two of us, turned out to be close to just 20 minutes and we sat at the counter

If you are open to sitting at the counter, then this will definitely cut your wait time. We eat at Beaches and Cream about once a month, and the most we ever wait is 20 minutes, and thats during peak time. We usually end up sitting at the counter, and walk right in...:thumbsup2

4 or less and you will usually get in less than 30 minutes. more than that and an hour would not be unheard of.

At 3PM we walked right in. I'd avoid 12 and right after Illuminations. It'd probably be very crowded then..
