sorry, no pics here, i completely forgot. we arrived at about 2:45 thinking it would be a good time between lunch and dinner. we were super hot from spending the morning at sea world. the greeter told us it would be a 40 minute wait and gave us a buzzer. we went into the yacht club lobby so the kids could do some pin trading and hung out there for a little while. after about 35 minutes we were back at beaches and cream and were told we could be seated. the place was empty except for a few tables.
i have no idea why they didn't buzz us sooner.
the place was WARM and the waitress told us that the a/c was out 'all through disney'
i'm not sure what she meant by that because both the beach and yacht club lobbies were fine.
we ordered a cheeseburger with fries for me, a hamburger with bacon and fries for dh, hot dog for dd, and kids mini cheeseburgers with fries for ds. also, a side order of onion rings to share.
drinks came very quickly and food soon followed. everything to be was just "OK", fries good, onion rings very good.
soon the chef came out to discuss dd's nut allergy as we wanted to share the kitchen sink. he offered to put all the topping on the side. ds got the kids mickey sundae, which he only ate the cherry and the iced sides of the oreo cookies.
the kitchen sink was coffee, strawberry, mint chocolate chip, chocolate and vanilla ice cream, bananas, whipped cream and a load of cherries on top. the other items on the side were candy bar (milky way maybe), banana nut muffin, angel food cake, brownies, oreos, some other cake type item i couldn't figure out, sprinkles, and mini chocolate chips.
they lower the lights when your sink is coming out and the server says something about it (that i couldn't hear because there was a rowdy group there) and when they say 'a whole can of whipped cream' and everyone shouts 'A WHOLE CAN?"
the service, even while dealing with no a/c was very good, she got more then 20%. the table was smallish, especially because we were in a booth which had very BIG table legs and we are tall people with big feet
all in all i'm glad we went but won't be running back anytime soon
bill was only about $63 before tip and i had $20 in disney dollars thanks to sunshine rewards
