Beaches & Cream...best time to go?

I know B&C is small, and I've heard it can have quite a crowd at times. I'd like to fit it in for a meal during an Epcot day. I want us to eat our meal there, and then surprise the kiddos with the kitchen sink for dessert. We have 7 people in our family, though, so it will probably be hard to get a table. What time do you think we'd have the best chance? Lunch, dinner?

We went during the off season (December - week before Christmas) and went several times for ice cream but did have a late lunch one day and had no problem getting a table. As I recall there were booths and some tables so you might need to pull two together. There is also seating outside that you might have a better chance at fitting your whole gang at. 3 PM is the time we have found to be the least crowded.... BUT remember after you have lunch you may not have room for dessert. We just got in for EITHER lunch or dessert but not both...

This will be tough with your group size. We went at around 6:00 pm one evening and waited over an hour. There aren't that many tables and they would have to pull two together to accomodate your party. I *think* there were 3 or 4 booths which would seat 4 and then maybe 5 -6 sets of tables which seat 4 people. They did have additional seating of maybe 10 or so at the counter. I was shocked at how small this place really was. Yes there was seating outside but I don't recall the restaurant serving out there. Seems like it was for take out ice cream only. Not sure though. We sat and waited at one of those tables so that's why I don't think you can eat out there.

I agree, it's the group size that makes it hard. This place pretty much caters to groups of 4. Of course if you want to sit at the counter then that is easy too. We just ate there with a group of 6 so had a 45 minute wait at 4:00PM in the middle of the week. The big problem is is that they need to pull 2 tables together and since we have a highchair the counter is not an option. There are about 4 booths and maybe 6 small round tables (4 chairs at each table). This place is little and the waits can be long for 4+ parties. When we are 2 or 4 we generally have a shorter wait. BTW, the booths can not accommodate a high chair as they are not allowed to have a high chair at the end. Highchairs can only be seated at one of the small tables.....(I spend way too much time here).

Go exactly at opening ( 1100) or around 3pm.During busy season there is no guarantee you will not have to wait even then.This place is really really small.I don't think that they thought this place would turn out as popular as it is.Waits of 45mins and up are not unusual.One day in December the wait was 2hrs for a table for 4.Forget about grabbing a treat here after illuminations( everyone floods this place).The outdoor tables are for the take out window which only serves basic ice cream treats and beverages( no food or kitchen sink here).I think that you may be able to pull 2 tables together, but I can not remember for sure.

Is it? If not, strange in my opinion!!! Why wouldn't a cone from Beaches and Cream be a snack credit?

We stay at the YC alot and notice lunchtime it is not busy at all. We ate lunch there 2 months ago around 12:30 and it was super slow. When we went for dinner in Oct is was busy and had a 45 minute wait
