What is the big appeal of Beaches and Cream? I haven't been there yet, but we're staying at Beach Club in September and I'm trying to figure out if it's worth using a TS credit on? Tell me what you'd order if you were on the DxDP.

Well, I don't think it's worth it on the regular dining plan - but I would go there if I'm on the Deluxe Dining Plan.

It's a burger shop. But the burgers (they have reg., turkey and veggie) are super! The sandwiches are very good, too. But it's the ice cream sundaes that are fantastic. Especially the No Way Jose if you're a peanut butter and chocolate lover!

We just upgraded to the DxDP and I think we're going to try for an early lunch or late dinner there. They do not accept reservations, so go early or late or in bewtween - otherwise, it's a long wait.

It's really good food, and a cute atmosphere, but I don't think it's worth a TS credit on. Not expensive enough at all.

When I went I was on the regular dining plan, so I paid out of pocket. I hope to go back on my next trip, I really want to try the No Way Jose. The burgers and onion rings are good.:lovestruc

I think the prices here are so low that it's not the best value on the DDP. This is one place I really want to try, but it's just so out of the way we have never gone. Especially since you can't make ADR's.

i love beaches and cream.. of course I believe in a little lunch and a BIG DESSERT theory.. When I take the kids or just me, I have dessert first and then if there is room we split a burger or french dip.. BTW we have had a kitchen sink and finished it.. the kids thought that I ate all the ice cream ;) so they want their own sundae instead ..

Even if I have the dinig plan Beaches and Cream is an OOP place..

We went in September last year and were on the Deluxe plan.

We each ordered something differnt to try new things. One of us got the chili, another the onion rings, another the chicken noodle soup.... it was very fun.

The burgers were good (we all ordered burgers) and the deserts were good too--I just found the place to be too small and it was hard with little kids that are jumpy. (like mine!) We were seated in the tables in the middle of the restaurant (party of 7) so it was very cramped and hard to eat.

The food was good though, and I'd go back. I thought it was a good value for being on the deluxe, but if I had been on the regular DDP I would have paid OOP for sure.

:goodvibes

I think its a reasonable use of a TS credits if you're have no need to pay OOP for one meal. People say its not expensive at all so don't use a TS credit. By my calculations it cost more than a Character breakfast, so what gives? I think because it feels like a CS setting people think its less.

Breakfast at Crystal Palace: $18.99

Lunch at Beaches and Cream: $19.27
- Cheeseburger $8.99 ($11.49 if you choose the Double)
- Soft Drink $2.29
- No Way Jose Sundae $7.99

Most other entrees at Beaches and Cream are more than $8.99 the Cheeseburger is about the cheapest non vegetarian option.

We went there on DDP and enjoyed it very much. Great atmosphere and you know for a "Burger" joint,it was pretty good we all got something diffrent from Burgers to coney dog, which loooooked so good but DW would NOT SHARE any of:mad:, and we came back 2 days later and got the Kitchen Sink.
